Abstract
KPU Pandeglang is a government institution that organizes elections in the Pandeglang Regency area. Since 2019, the Pandeglang KPU has used Instagram @kpupandeglangofficial social media as a medium to provide information related to the 2024 Simultaneous Elections. The formulation of the problem in this study is whether there is an influence of Instagram @kpupandeglangofficial on the Political Tendency of Pandeglang Regency Novice Voters in the upcoming 2024 simultaneous elections. The theories used are the theory of social media use (Chris Heuer) and the theory of political participation (Gabriel almond). The research method used was quantitative descriptive with a sample of 100 respondents. The results of the study of the percentage of variable X (Instagram @kpupandeglangofficial) of 74.43% have a high tendency. The percentage of variable Y (political tendencies of novice voters) of 59.95% has a moderate tendency. The results of the coefficient of determination showed that Instagram @kpupandeglangofficial had an influence on the political agility of novice voters by 13.1% while the remaining 86.9% was influenced by other factors. The results of the t-tcount test ≥ t-table (3,848 ≥ 1,984), then H_0 rejected and H_a accepted. This means that there is an influence of Instagram @kpupandeglangofficial on the political tendencies of novice voters in the 2024 simultaneous elections.

| Additional Information: | KPU Pandeglang merupakan lembaga pemerintah yang menyelenggarakan pemilu di wilayah Kabupaten Pandeglang. Sejak 2019 KPU Pandeglang memanfaatkan media sosial Instagram @kpupandeglangofficial sebagai media untuk memberikan informasi terkait dengan Pemilu Serentak 2024. Rumusan masalah dalam penelitian ini adalah apakah terdapat pengaruh Instagram @kpupandeglangofficial Terhadap Kecenderungan Politik Pemilih Pemula Kabupaten Pandeglang di pemilu serentak 2024 yang akan datang. Teori yang digunakan adalah teori penggunaan media sosial (Chris Heuer) dan teori partisipasi politik (Gabriel almond). Metode penelitian yang digunakan adalah kuantitatif deskriptif dengan sampel sebanyak 100 responden. Hasil penelitian persentase variabel X (Instagram @kpupandeglangofficial) sebesar 74,43% memiliki kecenderungan tinggi. Persentase variabel Y (Kecenderungan politik pemilih pemula) sebesar 59,95% memiliki kecenderungan sedang. Hasil koefisien determinasi menunjukan instagram @kpupandeglangofficial memiliki pengaruh terhadap kecederungan politik pemilih pemula sebesar 13,1% sementara sisanya 86,9% dipengaruhi oleh faktor lain. Hasil uji t thitung ≥ t-tabel (3.848 ≥ 1.984), maka H_0 ditolak dan H_a diterima. artinya terdapat pengaruh Instagram @kpupandeglangofficial terhadap kecenderungan politik pemilih pemula di pemilu serentak 2024. | |||||||||
