Abstract
Prosocial behavior is a voluntary action with the aim of helping or benefiting other people or groups of individuals, where it is done voluntarily and not coercion. Attachment is an emotional bond formed by an individual with another individual that is special in nature, binding them in an attachment forever. The purpose of this study was to determine the effect of attachment on the prosocial behavior of public high school students in Cilegon City. This study uses a quantitative approach with a correlation type of research. The population in this study were public high school students in Cilegon City while the sample used proportionate stratified random sampling technique. The data collection technique used a questionnaire. The data analysis technique uses normality test, homogeneity test, linearity test, and simple linear regression test. The results of this study indicate that attachment (X) has an influence on prosocial behavior (Y) of public high school students in Cilegon City. This is evidenced by the significance value of 0.000 < 0.05 which means there is an influence. Therefore, the hypothesis is acceptable and true. The coefficient of determination or R square (R)² is 0.143 or 14.3%. This means that the attachment variable contributes 14.3% to the prosocial behavior of public high school students in Cilegon City.

| Additional Information: | Perilaku prososial merupakan tindakan sukarela dengan tujuan untuk membantu atau menguntungkan orang lain atau kelompok individu, dimana hal tersebut dilakukan secara sukarela dan bukan paksaan. Attachment merupakan suatu ikatan emosional yang dibentuk oleh seorang individu dengan individu lain yang bersifat khusus, mengikat mereka dalam suatu attachment selama-lamanya. Tujuan penelitian ini adalah untuk mengetahui pengaruh attachment terhadap perilaku prososial siswa SMA Negeri se-Kota Cilegon. Penelitian ini menggunakan pendekatan kuantitatif dengan jenis penelitian korelasi. Populasi dalam penelitian ini adalah siswa SMA Negeri se-Kota Cilegon sedangkan untuk sampelmenggunakan teknik proportionate stratified random sampling. Teknik pengumpulan data menggunakan angket/kuesioner. Teknik analisis data menggunakan uji normalitas, uji homogenitas, uji linearitas, dan uji regresi linier sederhana. Hasil penelitian ini menunjukkan bahwa attachment (X) memiliki pengaruh terhadap perilaku prososial (Y) siswa SMA Negeri se-Kota Cilegon. Hal ini dibuktikan dengan nilai signifikansi 0.000 < 0.05 yang berarti terdapat pengaruh. Oleh karena itu, hipotesis dapat diterima dan benar. Nilai koefisiendeterminasi atau R square (R)² adalah sebesar 0.143 atau 14,3%. Hal ini berarti bahwa variabel attachment memberikan konstribusi sebesar 14,3% terhadap perilaku prososial siswa SMA Negeri se-Kota Cilegon. | |||||||||
