Abstract
Early childhood is one of the stages that can never be ignored and is very early in the progress and significant changes in the quality of knowledge of children who are developing very rapidly. Children grow and develop throughout their lives in a social environment. The first social realm that lays the foundation for the proper identity of the child's personality is the educator. Early childhood education is also very important in developing the manners that exist in students. As professional educators, they must ensure that each student is able to achieve optimal standards of attitude and behavior, so educators must determine suitable and appropriate methods such as the da'wah method which is able to provide direction or guidance on manners. The purpose of this study is to see how the demonstration method is applied and how polite children are after the demonstration method is implemented. This study uses qualitative research methods that produce descriptive data. The results of this study indicate that (1) the demonstration method presented by educators seen from the preparation, planning and evaluation is optimal and quite good and there is a success, (2) The improvement resulting from the demonstration method in the attitude and behavior of children's courtesy, (3) Obstacles for educators in developing manners in children, namely facing children who are hyperactive in talking at will, just want to play and disturb other students during learning and carrying children's behavior from the environment outside the school.

Additional Information: | Masa anak usia dini adalah salah satu tahapan yang tidak pernah bisa diabaikan dan sangat awal dalam kemajuan dan perubahan signifikan dalam kualitas pengetahuan anak yang berkembang sangat pesat. Anak tumbuh dan berkembang sepanjang hidupnya dalam lingkungan sosial. Ranah sosial pertama yang meletakkan dasar bagi identitas yang tepat dari kepribadian anak adalah pendidik. Pendidikan anak usia dini juga sangat penting dalam mengembangkan sopan santun yang ada dalam diri peserta didik. Sebagai pendidik yang professional harus memastikan bahwa setiap peserta didik mampu mencapai standar sikap maupun perilaku yang optimal, maka pendidik harus menentukan metode yang cocok dan sesuai seperti metode demonstrasi yang mampu memberikan arahan ataupun bimbingan sopan santun. Tujuan dari penelitian ini melihat bagaimana penerapan metode demonstrasi dan bagaimana sopan santun anak setelah diterapkannya metode demonstrasi. Penelitian ini menggunakan metode penelitian kualitatif yang menghasilkan data deskriptif. Hasil penelitian ini menunjukkan bahwa (1) metode demonstrasi yang disajikan oleh pendidik dilihat dari persiapan, perencanaan dan evaluasi sudah optimal dan cukup baik dan ada suatu keberhasilan, (2) peningkatan yang dihasilkan dari metode demonstrasi dalam sikap dan perilaku sopan santun anak, (3) Kendala pendidik dalam mengembangkan sopan santun pada anak yaitu menghadapi anak yang hiperaktif berbicara semaunya sendiri, hanya ingin bermain saja dan mengganggu peserta didik lain saat pembelajaran berlangsung serta pembawaan perilaku anak dari lingkungan luar sekolah | |||||||||
