Abstract

The purpose of this study was to determine the effect of competency and incentive systems on employee performance with work motivation as an intervening variable at PT. Gemilang Suralaya Merak Banten. In this study Competency and Incentive System as independent variables and Employee Performance as the dependent variable. This study used a quantitative method with a saturated sample of 82 respondents. The analitycal method used in this study is a descriptive statistical analysis method, a measurement model analysis method, and a structural model analysis method using the Partial Least Square (SmartPLS) Version 3.0 Program. The results showed that competency had a positive and significant effect on employee performance with the result of t-co unt > t-table (2,380 > 1,96) and a significance level < 0,05 (0,018 < 0,05), the incentive system had a positive and significant effect on employee performance with t-count > t-table (1,795 > 1,96) and significant level < 0,05 (0,074 < 0,05), work motivation has a positive and significant effect on employee performance with the result of t-count > t-table (7,513 > 1,96) and a significance level < 0,05 (0,000 < 0,05)

Additional Information: Tujuan penelitian ini adalah untuk mengetahui Pengaruh Kompetensi dan Sistem Insentif Terhadap Kinerja Karyawan dengan Motivasi Kerja Sebagai Variabel Intervening Pada PT. Gemilang Suralaya Merak Banten. Dalam penelitian ini Kompetensi dan Sistem Insentif sebagai variabel independen serta Kinerja Karyawan sebagai variabel dependen. Penelitian ini menggunakan metode kuantitatif sengan jenis sampel jenuh sebanyak 82 responden. Metode analisis yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini adalah metode analisis statistik deskripti, metode analisis model pengukuran, dan metode analisis model struktural dengan menggunakan alat bantu program Partial Least Square (SmartPLS) Versi 3.0. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa kompetensi berpengaruh positif dan signifikan terhadap kinerja karyawan dengan hasil t-hitung > t-tabel (2,701 > 1,96) dan tingkat signifikansi < 0,05 (0,007 < 0,05), sistem insentif tidak berpengaruh positif dan signifikan terhadap kinerja karyawan dengan hasil t-hitung > t-tabel (1,795 > 1,96) dan tingkat signifikansi < 0,05 (0,074 < 0,05), motivasi kerja berpengaruh positif dan signifikan terhadap kinerja karyawan dengan hasil t-hitung > t-tabel (7,057 > 1,96) dan tingkat signifikansi < 0,05 (0,000 < 0,05)
