Abstract
Introduction On a global scale, neck pain is a common musculoskeletal complaint after low back pain. The incidence of neck pain can be caused by several things, one of which is the wrong working posture at work. According to the 2019 Riskesdas data, the prevalence rate of neck pain is 24.7% in Indonesia and according to the 2018 Riskesdas, the prevalence of joint pain in Banten province in workers aged > 15 years is 5.28% and the prevalence of joint disease at the age of > 15 years in the city of Serang is 4.1%. This study aims to determine the relationship between work posture and the incidence of neck pain in red brick workers at the Kasemen brick manufacturing center. Method This study is an analytical study using a cross-sectional design. This study used a consecutive sampling technique with the number of research subjects being 38 people. The research subjects were workers making red bricks at the Kasemen Brick Producing Center who met the inclusion and exclusion criteria. Data collection was carried out using the REBA questionnaire instrument which was filled in by researchers and NDI questionnaire which was filled out by respondents. Data analysis will be carried out using the SPSS application. Result Neck posture is not related to the incidence of neck pain that occurs in red brick workers in the Kasemen brick production center (p=0.110). Conclusion Neck posture and the incidence of neck pain among red brick workers in the casement brick production center were not significantly significant (p=0.110). | Additional Information: | ABSTRAK Latar Belakang Dalam skala global nyeri leher menjadi keluhan musculoskeletal yang umum terjadi setelah low back pain. Kejadian nyeri leher dapat disebabkan oleh beberapa hal, salah satunya adalah postur kerja yang salah saat bekerja. Menurut data Riskesdas tahun 2019 angka prevalensi kesakitan nyeri leher sebesar 24,7% di Indonesia dan menurut Riskesdas tahun 2018 prevalensi nyeri sendi di provinsi Banten pada pekerja buruh usia > 15 tahun adalah 5,28% dan prevalensi penyakit sendi pada usia > 15 tahun di kota Serang adalah 4,1 %. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui hubungan postur kerja dan kejadian nyeri leher pada pekerja pembuat batu bata merah di sentral produsen batu bata Kasemen. Metode Penelitian ini merupakan penelitian analitik yang menggunakan desain cross-sectional. Penelitian ini menggunakan teknik consecutive sampling dengan jumlah subjek penelitian adalah 38 orang. Subjek penelitian adalah pekerja pembuat batu bata merah di Sentral Produsen Batu Bata Kasemen yang memenuhi kriteria inklusi dan eksklusi. Pengambilan data dilakukan dengan menggunakan instrument kuesioner REBA yang diisi oleh peneliti dan NDI yang diisi oleh responden. Analisis data akan dilakukan dengan menggunakan aplikasi SPSS Hasil Postur leher diketahui tidak berhubungan dengan kejadian nyeri leher yang terjadi pada pekerja pembuat batu bata merah di sentra produsen batu bata Kasemen (p=0,110). Kesimpulan Postur leher dan kejadian nyeri leher pada pekerja pembuat batu bata merah di sentra produsen batu bata kasemen tidak bermakna signifikan (p=0,110).
