Abstract

This study aims to determine whether there are differences in students' learning interests, and to find out whether there is influence of YouTube media in increasing students' learning interests in learning Pancasila and Citizenship Education. This study uses a quantitative approach, with a quasi-experimental method. The population is class XI students of SMAN 1 Pabuaran with a total of 241 students. The samples used were 58 samples taken from class X1 IPA 1 as the control class and XI IPA 4 as the experimental class. The data analysis technique used is inferential statistics. The results showed that there was a significant difference between the results of the learning interest of the experimental class and the control class with the results of the independent sample T-test obtained a significance value (2-tailed) of 0.000 > 0.05. In the linear regression results, the results obtained were Tcount > Ttable, namely (4.650 > 1.701), so that the YouTube media had a significant effect on the learning interest of the experimental class students.

Penelitian ini menggunakan pendekatan kuantitatif, dengan metode quasi eksperimental”. Populasinya yaitu peserta didik kelas XI SMAN 1 Pabuaran yang berjumlah 241 peserta didik. Sampel yang digunakan sebanyak 58 sampel diambil dari kelas X1 IPA 1 sebagai kelas kontrol dan XI IPA 4 sebagai kelas eksperimen. Teknik analisis data yang digunakan adalah statistic inferensial. Hasil penelitian menunjukan terdapat perbedaan yang signifikan antara hasil minat belajar peserta didik kelas eksperimen dengan kelas kontrol dengan hasil uji independent sampel T-test diperoleh nilai signifikansi (2-tailed) sebesar 0,000 > 0,05. Pada hasil regresi linear didapatkan hasil Thitung > Ttabel yaitu (4,650 >1,701), sehingga media YouTube berpengaruh signifikan terhadap minat belajar peserta didik kelas eksperimen.
