Abstract

This is a research and development study based on the problem in the learning process, which includes (1) the use of non-renewable media makes students passive; (2) there is no active interaction between students and teachers in learning activities; (3) students experience boredom during learning activities resulting in low learning outcomes. The research problem and focus of this study include the IPAS learning process, development of learning media, feasibility testing, learning effectiveness, and student responses to the developed media, which is a capcut-based video media on cultural diversity in IPAS subject for grade IV students of SDN Kedaleman III, Cilegon City. This study used Research & Development (R&D) with the 4D development model consisting of the definition, design, development, and dissemination stages. The feasibility of the capcut-based video media was tested based on material experts' assessment, which resulted in an average score of 92% with the category of "very feasible" and media experts' assessment with 93% with the category of "very feasible." The effectiveness of learning was tested through the N-gain score obtained from pretest and post-test results of students using the capcut-based video media, which showed a score of 0.71, categorized as "high." Student responses were obtained through questionnaires with a percentage score of 91% with the category of "very good." Therefore, the development of capcut-based video media is considered feasible for use in the learning process.

Additional Information: Penelitian pengembangan ini berdasarkan permasalahan dalam proses Pembelajaran yaitu (1) Penggunaan media yang tidak terbarukan membuat siswa pasif; (2) Peserta didik tidak terjadi interaksi yang aktif antara siswa dan guru dalam kegiatan pembelajaran; (3) Peserta didik mengalami kejenuhan dalam kegiatan pembelajaran sehingga mengakibatkan hasil belajar yang rendah. Rumusan masalah dan fokus masalah penelitian ini meliputi proses pembelajaran IPAS, Pengembangan Media Pembelajaran, Uji kelayakan,, efektivitas pembelajaran dan respon peserta didik terhadap media yang dikembangkan yaitu media video berbasis capcut materi keragaman budaya pada mata pelajaran IPAS kelas IV SDN Kedaleman III Kota Cilego. Penelitian ini menggunakan Reseach & Development (R&D) dengam model pengembangan 4D meliputi tahapan pendefinisian, perancangan, pengembangan dan penyebaran. Hasil uji kelayakan media video berbasis capcut berdasarkan penilaian ahli materi diperoleh rata-rata 92% dengan kategori”sangat layak” dan ahli media diperoleh 93% dengan kategori “sangat layak”. Uji efektivitas pembelajaran diperoleh N gain score dari hasil pre-test dan post-test peserta didik menggunakan media video berbasis capcut sebesar 0,71 termasuk kedalam kategori”tinggi”. Hasil respon peserta didik diambil melalui penyebaran angket dengan skor prosentase 91% dengan kategori “sangat baik”. Dengan demikian pengembangan media video berbasis capcut ini dinyatakan layak untuk dapat digunakan dalam proses pembelajaran.
