Abstract

This study aims to identify the quality of the questions as learning assessment instruments, based on their suitability in terms of material, construction, language, and knowing the results of the item analysis in terms of validity, reliability, discriminating power, level of difficulty and effectiveness of the Distractor of Year-End Assessment questions. Indonesian history subject for class X MIA at MA Al-Khairiyah Rancaranji for the 2021/2022 academic year. This research is quantitative descriptive. The subjects in this study were students of class X MIA. Data collection techniques are carried out by the documentation method. The data obtained were analyzed qualitatively using the question-study format and quantitative analysis using the Microsoft Excel program and the Anates version 4 program. The results of the study showed that the quality of the questions was in accordance with basic competencies, but there were several questions that did not match the indicators and there was a need to improve construction aspects and language in several questions, the validity of multiple choice questions, there were 21 questions (52.5%) declared valid and 19 questions (47.5%) declared invalid. The description of 5 questions (100%) was declared valid, the reliability of the multiple choice questions had a reliability of 0.74 and the description questions were 0.50, the multiple choice questions consisted of 13 items (32.5%), weak discriminating power, 19 questions ( 47.50%) sufficient discriminating power, 8 items (20%) good discriminating power. Question description 2 questions (40%) sufficient discriminating power, 3 items (60%) good discriminating power, level of difficulty, for multiple choice questions there are 10 items (25%) easy questions, 20 questions (50%) questions moderate, and as many as 10 (25%) questions that are easy. About description 3 questions (60%) easy and 2 (40%) moderate, the effectiveness of the distractor 3 questions (7.5%) very good, 17 items (42.5%) good, 9 items (37.5%) ) was sufficient, 11 items (27.5%) were not good and 9 items (22.5%) were bad. Teachers need to pay attention to the preparation of quality test items, because previously no analysis of Indonesian history Year End Assessment (PAT) items was carried out. Analysis of the items in this study consisted of multiple choice questions and descriptions. A good question is that it meets the criteria of validity, reliability, discriminating power, level of difficulty and effectiveness of the distractor for the type of multiple choice questions.

Additional Information: Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengidentifikasi kualitas soal sebagai instrumen penilaian pembelajaran, berdasarkan kesesuaiannya dari segi materi, konstruksi, bahasa, dan mengetahui hasil dari analisis butir soal dilihat dari validitas, reliabilitas, daya pembeda, tingkat kesukaran dan efektivitas pengecoh soal Penilaian Akhir Tahun (PAT) mata pelajaran sejarah Indonesia kelas X MIA di MA Al-Khairiyah Rancaranji tahun ajaran 2021/2022. Penelitian ini merupakan penelitian deskriptif kuantitatif. Subjek dalam penelitian ini adalah peserta didik kelas X MIA. Teknik pengumpulan data dilakukan dengan metode dokumentasi. Data yang diperoleh dianalisis kualitatif menggunakan format penelaahan soal dan analisis kuantitatif menggunakan program microsoft excel dan program anates versi 4. Hasil dari penelitian menunjukkan kualitas soal sudah sesuai dengan kompetensi dasar, tetapi terdapat beberapa soal yang tidak sesuai dengan indikator dan perlu adanya perbaikan aspek konstruksi dan bahasa pada beberapa soal, validitas soal pilihan ganda terdapat 21 soal (52,5%) dinyatakan valid dan 19 soal (47,5%) dinyatakan tidak valid. Soal uraian 5 soal (100%) dinyatakan valid, reliabilitas pilihan ganda soal tersebut memiliki reliabilitas sebesar 0,74 dan soal uraian sebesar 0,50, soal pilihan ganda sebanyak 13 butir soal (32,5%) daya pembeda lemah, 19 soal (47,50%) daya pembeda cukup, 8 butir soal (20%) daya pembeda soal baik. Soal uraian 2 soal (40%) daya pembeda cukup, 3 butir soal (60%) daya pembeda soal baik, tingkat kesukaran, untuk soal pilihan ganda terdapat 10 butir soal (25%) soal yang mudah, 20 soal (50%) soal sedang, dan sebanyak 10 (25%) soal yang mudah. Soal uraian 3 soal (60%) mudah dan 2 (40%) sedang, efektivitas pengecoh 3 butir soal (7,5%) sangat baik, 17 butir soal (42,5%) baik, 9 butir soal (37,5%) cukup, 11 butir soal (27,5%) kurang baik dan 9 butir soal (22,5%) buruk. Guru perlu memperhatikan penyusunan butir soal yang berkualitas, karena sebelumnya tidak dilakukan analisis butir soal Penilaian Akhir Tahun (PAT) sejarah Indonesia. Analisis butir soal pada penelitian ini terdiri atas tipe soal pilihan ganda dan uraian. Soal yang baik yaitu memenuhi kriteria validitas, reliabilitas, daya pembeda, tingkat kesukaran dan efektivitas pengecoh untuk tipe soal pilihan ganda.
