Abstract
Penelitian ini bertujuan mendeskripsikan hasil analisis respons siswa perempuan terhadap karakter tokoh, konflik tokoh, dan sikap tokoh perempuan dalam novel populer Mariposa dan Antares. Subjek penelitian ini adalah siswa perempuan terdiri dari siswi 12 OTKP2 berjumlah 30 orang dan siswi 12 AKL2 berjumlah 30 orang. Metode penelitian yang digunakan yaitu metode analisis deskriptif kualitatif dengan teknik analisis data model Miles dan Huberman. Langkah-langkah analisis data meliputi: 1) reduksi data, 2) penyajian data, 3) menarik kesimpulan. Hasil penelitian ini menunjukkan: 1) Karakter tokoh perempuan dalam novel populer Mariposa yaitu Acha berjuang keras mendapatkan cinta Iqbal 73%, sedangkan karakter tokoh perempuan dalam novel populer Antares yaitu Zea menyelamatkan/ memperhatikan Fino 97%; 2) Konflik tokoh perempuan dalam novel populer Mariposa adalah menyatakan perasaan ke Iqbal 58%, sedangkan konflik tokoh perempuan dalam novel populer Antares adalah Zea terkejut ternyata Sandra adalah adik Ares 97%; 3) Sikap tokoh perempuan dalam novel populer Mariposa yaitu Acha menghindari/ tidak mempedulikan Juna 83%, sedangkan sikap tokoh perempuan dalam novel populer Antares adalah Zea dijauhi dan dikira pengkhianat dan mendapat ancaman 88%.

| Additional Information: | This study aims to describe the results of the analysis of female students' responses to character traits, character conflicts, and attitudes of female characters in the popular novels Mariposa and Antares. The subjects of this study were female students consisting of 30 12 OTKP2 students and 30 12 AKL2 students. The research method used is a qualitative descriptive analysis method with data analysis techniques using the Miles and Huberman models. The steps of data analysis include: 1) data reduction, 2) data presentation, 3) draw conclusions. The results of this study show: 1) The female character in the popular novel Mariposa, namely Acha, struggles hard to get Iqbal's love 73%, while the female character in the popular novel Antares, namely Zea saves/pays attention to Fino 97%; 2) The conflict of the female character in the popular novel Mariposa is expressing feelings to Iqbal 58%, while the conflict of the female character in the popular novel Antares is that Zea is surprised that Sandra is Ares' younger sister 97%; 3) The attitude of the female character in the popular novel Mariposa, namely Acha avoids/ignores Juna 83%, while the attitude of the female character in the popular novel Antares is that Zea is shunned and thought to be a traitor and received threats 88%. | |||||||||
