Abstract
This study aims to determine the effect of competence (X1) and work discipline (X2) on employee performance (Y) with work motivation (Z) as an intervening variable at PT. Arfindo Jaya Mandiri. The method used in this research is quantitative research with a descriptive approach. The population in this study were 80 employees at PT. Arfindo Jaya Mandiri. The research sample used the entire research population using census sampling. The data analysis technique in this study used Structural Equation Modeling (SEM) using the student version of the SmartPLS 4.0 analysis tool. The results of this study indicate that: (1) competence has a positive and significant effect on employee performance, (2) work discipline has a positive and significant effect on employee performance, (3) competence has a positive and significant effect on work motivation, (4) work discipline has a positive effect and significant to work motivation, (5) work motivation has a positive and significant effect on employee performance, (6) work motivation is able to mediate the relationship between competency and employee performance, and (7) work motivation is able to mediate the relationship of work discipline to employee performance.

Additional Information: | Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui pengaruh kompetensi (X1) dan disiplin kerja (X2) terhadap kinerja karyawan (Y) dengan motivasi kerja (Z) sebagai variabel intervening pada PT. Arfindo Jaya Mandiri. Metode yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini adalah penelitian kuantitatif dengan pendekatan deskriptif. Populasi dalam penelitian ini adalah 80 orang karyawan pada PT. Arfindo Jaya Mandiri. Sampel penelitian ini menggunakan seluruh populasi penelitian dengan menggunakan sampling sensus. Teknik analisis data dalam penelitian ini menggunakan Structural Equation Modelling (SEM) dengan menggunkan alat analisis SmartPLS 4.0 versi pelajar. Hasil penelitian ini menunjukkan bahwa: (1) kompetensi berpengaruh positif dan signifikan terhadap kinerja karyawan, (2) disiplin kerja berpengaruh positif dan signifikan terhadap kinerja karyawan, (3) kompetensi berpengaruh positif dan signifikan terhadap motivasi kerja, (4) disiplin kerja berpengaruh positif dan signifikan terhadap motivasi kerja, (5) motivasi kerja berpengaruh positif dan signifikan terhadap kinerja karyawan, (6) motivasi kerja mampu memediasi hubungan kompetensi dengan kinerja karyawan, dan (7) motivasi kerja mampu memediasi hubungan disiplin kerja dengan kinerja karyawan. | |||||||||
