Abstract

This study aims to determine the effect of work discipline on employee performance, the effect of organizational commitment on employee performance and to determine whether job satisfaction mediates the relationship between work discipline and organizational commitment on employee performance. At the end of this study, there are managerial implications that can be used as a reference in improving performance. employees at Achmad Wardi Eye Hospital. Using an associative quantitative approach method which aims to find out and test the relationship between two variables or how one variable affects another. The population in this study were all employees (non-doctors) of Achmad Wardi Eye Hospital totaling 67 employees, using a saturated sampling technique which means that the entire population can be used as a sample, as many as 67 samples were processed using the smartpls statistical analysis tool version 3. The test results obtained are t count > t table (2.403> 1.96) showing that H1 results are accepted, which means work discipline (X1) has a significant effect on employee performance (Y), then t count < t table (0.963 <1.96) shows H2 results are rejected which means that organizational commitment (X2) has no significant effect on employee performance (Y), then the value of t count < t table (0.485 <1.96) shows that the results of H3 are rejected, which means that job satisfaction (Z) has a negative and insignificant effect on the relationship of work discipline ( X1) on employee performance (Y), and the value of t count <t table (0.913 <1.96) shows that the results of H4 are accepted, which means that job satisfaction (Z) has a positive and not significant effect on the relationship of organizational commitment (X2) to employee performance (Y).

Additional Information: Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui pengaruh disiplin kerja terhadap kinerja karyawan, pengaruh komitmen organisasi terhadap kinerja karyawan dan untuk mengetahui apakah kepuasan kerja memediasi hubungan disiplin kerja dan komitmen organisasi terhadap kinerja karyawan, pada akhir penelitian ini terdapat implikasi manajerial yang dapat digunakan sebagai referensi dalam meningkatkan kinerja karyawan pada RS Mata Achmad Wardi. Menggunakan metode pendekatan kuantitatif asosiatif yang bertujuan untuk mengetahui serta menguji hubungan antara dua variabel atau bagaimana satu variabel mempengaruhi yang lain. Populasi dalam penelitian ini ada seluruh karyawan (non-dokter) RS Mata Achmad Wardi berjumlah 67 karyawan, menggunakan teknik sampling jenuh yang artinya seluruh populasi dapat dijadikan sampel, sebanyak 67 sampel diolah menggunakan alat analisis statistik smartpls versi 3. Hasil pengujian diperoleh nilai t hitung > t tabel (2.403>1.96) menunjukan hasil H1 diterima yang artinya disiplin kerja (X1) berpengaruh signifikan terhadap kinerja karyawan (Y), lalu nilai t hitung < t tabel (0.963<1.96) menunjukan hasil H2 ditolak yang artinya komitmen organisasi (X2) berpengaruh tidak signifikan terhadap kinerja karyawan (Y), lalu nilai t hitung < t tabel (0.485<1.96) menunjukan hasil H3 ditolak yang artinya kepuasan kerja (Z) berpengaruh negatif dan tidak signifikan pada hubungan disiplin kerja (X1) terhadap kinerja karyawan (Y), dan nilai t hitung < t tabel (0.913 < 1.96) menunjukan hasil H4 diterima yang artinya kepuasan kerja (Z) berpengaruh positif dan tidak signifikan pada hubungan komitmen organisasi (X2) terhadap kinerja karyawan (Y).
