Abstract

This study aims to determine to effect of profitability on firm value by using debt policy as an intervening variable. In This study there are 3 variabels, namely profitability proxied by Operating Profit Mrgin (OPM), Firm Value Proxied by Tobin’s Q and Debt Policy Proxied by Debt To Equity Ratio (DER). The data used in this research is data secondary data, and the technique used in this research is purposive sampling. The data sources in this study come from the indonesia stock exchange and PT RTI inforcom. The results in this study are profitability has a positive and significant effect on firm value, Profitability has a negative and significant effect on debt policy, debt poicy has a negative and signifikan effect on firm value. Additional Information:	Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui pengaruh profitabilitas terhadap nilai perusahaan dengan menggunakan kebijakan hutang sebagai varibel intervening. Dalam penelitian ini terdapat 3 Variabel yaitu Profitbilitas yang di proksikan dengan Operating Profit Margin (OPM), Nilai Perusahaan yang di proksikan dengan Tobin’s Q, dan Kebijakan Hutang yang di proksikan dengan Debt To Equity Ratio (DER). Data yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini adalah data sekunder, dan teknik yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini yaitu sampling purposive. Sumber data dalam penelitian ini berasal dari Bursa Efek Indonesia dan PT RTI Inforcom. Hasil dalam penelitian ini yaitu Profitabilitas berpengaruh positif dan signifikan terhadap Nilai perusahaan, Profitabilitas berpengaruh negatif dan signifikan terhadap Kebijakan hutang, Kebijakan hutang berpengaruh negatif dan signifikan terhadap Nilai perusahaan. Kata Kunci : Profitabilitas, Kebijakan Hutang, Nilai Perusahaan
