Abstract
This research is based on the government's efforts to develop interest in reading by forming the School Literacy Movement Program (GLS). The approaches and methods used are qualitative approaches and descriptive methods through technical triangulation of data collection techniques, such as interviews, observation and documentation using the Miles and Huberman data analysis models consisting of the process of data collection, data reduction, data presentation and verification/drawing conclusions. The results of the research show that the implementation of the literacy movement program was successful, this was proven through the results of interviews related to supporting and inhibiting factors for the school literacy movement that in the school there are supporting roles such as facilities and infrastructure while the inhibiting role is only technical implementation, in the related observation process the teacher's efforts in the literacy movement program where the teacher is quite good at implementing GLS in fostering students' interest in reading. implementing GLS in fostering students' interest in reading.

Additional Information: | Penelitian ini dilandasi dari upaya pemerintah dalam menumbuhkembangkan minat baca dengan di bentuknya Program Gerakan Literasi Sekolah (GLS) oleh karena itu, penelitian ini memiliki tujuan untuk mendeskrpsikan pelaksanaan program gerakan literasi sekolah (GLS) daalam menumbuhkan minat baca peserta didik. Adapun pendekatan dan metode yang digunakan adalah pendekatan kualitatif dan metode deskriptif melalui teknik pengumpulan data triangulasi teknik, seperti wawancara, observasi dan dokumentasi dengan menggunakan model anlisis data miles dan huberman terdiri dari proses pengumpulan data, reduksi data, penyajian data dan verivikasi/penarikan kesimpulan. Pada hasil penelitian menunjukan bahwa pelaksanaan program gerakan literasi ini berhasil, hal tersebut dibuktikan melalui hasil wawancara terkait faktor pendukung dan penghambat terhadap gerakan literasi sekolah bahwa di sekolah tersebut terdapat peran pendukung seperti sarana dan prasarana adapun pada peran penghambat hanya teknis pelaksanaan, pada proses observasi terkait upaya guru dalam program gerakan literasi dimana guru sudah cukup baik melaksanakan GLS dalam menumbuhkan minat baca peserta didik. | |||||||||
