Abstract

Inventories are assets in the form of materials or equipment (spare parts) needed by a company to carry out the production process which is controlled by the warehouse and accounting division so that activities can run according to regulations. The research object of this final project is PT PLN Indonesia Power Suralaya PGU, this research aims to find out the inventory management procedures and any constraints that occur at PT PLN Indonesia Power Suralaya PGU. Writing this final project using descriptive method, the type of data used is qualitative, and the data sources used are primary and secondary data. The data taken were sourced from direct research on industrial internship activities at PT PLN Indonesia Power Suralaya PGU. The results of the study show that inventory management procedures are in accordance with applicable rules and theories, and there are several obstacles that occur in the inventory management process at PT PLN Indonesia Power Suralaya PGU.

Additional Information:	Persediaan adalah aset dalam bentuk bahan atau perlengkapan (spare part) yang diperlukan suatu perusahaan untuk melakukan proses produksi yang dikendalikan oleh pihak gudang dan divisi akuntansi agar kegiatan dapat berjalan sesuai ketentuan. Objek penelitian tugas akhir ini adalah PT PLN Indonesia Power Suralaya PGU, penelitian ini bertujuan unutk mengetahui prosedur pengelolaan persediaan dan kendala apa saja yang terjadi pada PT PLN Indonesia Power Suralaya PGU. Penulisan tugas akhir ini menggunakan metode deskriptif, jenis data yang digunakan adalah kualitatif, dan sumber data yang digunakan yaitu data primer dan sekunder. Data yang diambir bersumber dari penelitian langsung pada kegiatan magang industi di PT PLN Indonesia Power Suralaya PGU. Hasil dari penelitian menunjukan bahwa prosedur pengelolaan persediaan sudah sesuai dengan aturan dan teori yang berlaku, dan ada beberapa kendala yang terjadi pada proses pengelolaan persediaan di PT PLN Indonesia Power Suralaya PGU.
