Abstract

Men easily have more than one wife, and this is a pressure for the first wife and the second wife because they have to share love with other wives, husbands who have more than one wife who marry the first wife and most men have feelings for their first wife and there are first wives who agree but are called thoughts, so this is what distinguishes a woman or a man from a woman who has feelings like in general. Then what is of particular concern is how interpersonal and chronological communication occurs in polygamous families. Interpersonal communication or interpersonal communication is the process by which people create and manage their relationships, carrying out the shared responsibility of creating meaning. This meaning will be a big question when a case study is taken on each individual polygamous family. The word polygamy is etymologically derived from the Greek words pollus which means many and gamos which means marriage. Putting the meanings of these words together, polygamy would mean the marriage of many or more than one person. Communication in polygamous families is how polygamous husbands in the family must be fair to the first wife and second wife, husbands in the family must maintain harmony with the second wife so as not to misunderstand because husbands cannot take care of each other and be fair.

Additional Information:	Pria dengan mudah mempunyai istri lebih dari satu, dan itu merupakan suatu tekanan bagi istri pertama dan istri kedua karena mereka harus membagi cinta mereka dengan istri-istri yang lain, suami yang mempunyai istri lebih dari satu lebih condong kepada istri yang menikah terakhir dibanding dengan istri pertama dan hampir sebagian besar pria mengabaikan perasaan istri pertama dan ada istri pertama yang mengiyakan tapi mengabaikan batinnya, sehingga inilah yang disebut dengan membendakan wanita atau pria mengabaikan wanita yang mempunyai perasaan seperti manusia pada umumnya. Lalu yang menjadi perhatian khusus bagaimana komunikas antar pribadi yang terbangin dan kronologis yang terjadi di dalam keluarga Poligami. Komunikasi interpersonal atau komunikasi antar pribadi merupakan proses dimana orang menciptakan dan mengelola hubungan mereka, melaksanakan tanggung jawab secara timbal balik dalam menciptakan makna. Makna ini akan menjadi pertanyaan besar dikala studi kasus yang di ambil di dalam tiap individu keluarga poligami tersebut. Kata poligami, secara etimologi berasal dari bahasa Yunani, yaitu polus yang berarti banyak dan gamos yang berarti perkawinan. Bila pengertian kata ini digabungkan, maka poligami akan berarti suatu perkawinan yang banyak atau lebih dari seorang. Komunikasi pada keluarga Poligami yaitu bagaimana seorang suami yang berpoligami dalam keluarga harus berlaku adil kepada istri kesatu dan istri yang kedua, seorang suami di dalam keluarga harus bisa menjaga keharmonisan dengan kedua istri jangan sampai salah paham bisa membuat kecemburuan karena suami tidak bisa saling menjaga dan adil.
