Abstract
The group approach is one of the most effective ways to start an activity together. that individually the poor do not have the power and strength which causes it to be very difficult for the community to be able to solve a problem that occurs. The aims of this study were (1) to find out the group approach process in the family hope assistance program in the Kebon Pala Village, Makasar District, East Jakarta. (2) To find out the characteristics of beneficiaries (KPM). (3) To find out the challenges of the Family Hope Program (PKH). This study uses a method in the form of descriptive qualitative. The technique used by the researchers in collecting data was in the form of interviews, observations and documentation conducted with 16 respondents consisting of 1 PKH Facilitator, 1 Group Coordinator, 12 active PKH KPM, 2 independent graduated PKH KPM, and 2 natural graduated PKH KPM. The results of this study (1) The KPM PKH group consists of 20 people per group (2) The characteristics of PKH beneficiaries are over the age range of 40-50 years. (3) PKH challenges are in the form of challenges in distributing aid and the lack of facilities in providing assistance.

| Additional Information: | Pendekatan kelompok adalah salah satu cara paling efektif untuk memulai suatu kegiatan bersama. bahwa secara individu masyarakat miskin tidak memiliki daya dan kekuatan yang menyebabkan masyarakat sangat sulit untuk dapat menyelesaikan suatu masalah yang terjadi. Tujuan Penelitian ini adalah (1) Untuk mengetahui proses pendekatan kelompok pada program pendampingan keluarga harapan di Kelurahan Kebon Pala Kecamatan Makasar Jakarta Timur. (2) Untuk mengetahui karakteristik penerima manfaat (KPM). (3) Untuk mengetahui tantangan-tantangan Program Keluarga Harapan (PKH). Penelitian ini menggunakan metode berupa deskriptif kualitatif. Teknik yang digunakan peneliti dalam mengumpulkan data berupa wawancara, observasi dan dokumentasi yang dilakukan kepada 16 responden yang terdiri dari 1 Pendamping PKH, 1 Koordinator Kelompok, 12 KPM PKH aktif, 2 KPM PKH graduasi mandiri, dan 2 KPM PKH graduasi alami. Hasil dari penelitian ini (1) Kelompok KPM PKH beranggotakan 20 orang per kelompok (2) Karakteristik penerima PKH berusia di atas rentang usia 40-50 tahun. (3) Tantangan-tantangan pada PKH berupa tantangan dalam penyaluran bantuan dan kurangnya fasilitas dalam pemberian bantuan. Kata Kunci : Pendekatan Kelompok, Pendampingan, PKH | |||||||||
