Abstract
This research is based on the low interest of students on learning to write and the use of learning media to write poetry is less precise and less interesting so that students make it difficult to write what they think in a work of poetry, by assigning students to write poetry teacher only take the students out the room Ie in the wild or events experienced by students and teachers provide a narrow time when assigning students to write poetry in the classroom. Moreover not yet active students in learning activities in which learning is still dominated by teachers. One of which is pursued by seeking a way to improve poetry writing skills by using the media. Effective media is short film medium, while other media used in this research is flip chart. The purpose of this study is to determine the difference between the influence of learning skills of writing poetry writing with short film media and media flip chart on students of class VII MTsN 1 Pandeglang. The method of this research is experimental method is quantitative. The population in this study is all students of class VII MTs Negeri 1 Pandeglang. Sampling technique used simple random sampling technique. Selected students of class VIID as experimental class and grade VII-G students as control class. Research data in the form of test instrument. The test instrument is in the form of a description of the ability to write short story text as much as 1 problem given at the time of pretest and postest. From the result of the research shows that there is influence of the use of short film media to poetry writing skill is very strong with average pretest score of 60,06 and postest score equal to 84,47. Meanwhile, the effect of using flip chart media on poetry writing skill, low with average pretest score of 53,03 and posttest score equal to 65,07. And there is difference of influence between student learning result by using short film media and media flip chart with mean of post test experiment class score equal to 84,47 and score of posttest of control class equal to 65,07 and difference of 19 point. That is, students experience improvements in writing poetry skills using short film media.

| Additional Information: | Penelitian ini dilatar belakangi masih rendahnya minat siswa terhadap pembelajaran menulis dan penggunaan media pembelajaran menulis puisi kurang tepat dan kurang menarik sehingga membuat siswa sukar untuk menuliskan apa yang mereka pikirkan dalam sebuah karya berupa puisi, dengan menugaskan siswa untuk menulis puisi guru hanya membawa siswa keluar ruangan yakni di alam bebas maupun peristiwa yang dialami oleh siswa dan guru memberikan waktu yang sempit ketika menugaskan siswa menulis puisi didalam kelas. Terlebih lagi belum aktifnya siswa di dalam kegiatan pembelajaran di mana pembelajaran masih didominasi oleh guru pernyataan tersebut berdasarkan hasil observasi. Salah satu yang ditempuh dengan mengupayakan suatu cara untuk meningkatkan keterampilan menulis puisi yaitu dengan menggunakan media. Media yang efektif adalah media film pendek, adapun media lain yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini adalah flip chart. Tujuan penelitian ini yaitu untuk mengetahui perbedaan pengaruh antara ketarampilan pemelajaran menulis puisi dengan media film pendek dan media flip chart pada siswa kelas VII MTsN 1 Pandeglang. Metode penelitian ini adalah metode eksperimen bersifat kuantitatif. Populasi dalam penelitian ini adalah seluruh siswa kelas VII MTs Negeri 1 Pandeglang. Teknik pengambilan sampel digunakan teknik simple random sampling. Terpilih siswa kelas VII-D sebagai kelas eksperimen dan siswa kelas VII-G sebagai kelas kontrol. Data penelitian berupa instrument tes. Instrumen tes berbentuk uraian tentang kemampuan menulis teks cerita pendek sebanyak 1 soal yang diberikan pada saat pretest dan postest. Dari hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa terdapat pengaruh penggunaan media film pendek terhadap keterampilan menulis puisi sangat kuat dengan rata-rata skor pretest sebesar 60,06 dan skor postest sebesar 84,47. Sedangkan, pengaruh penggunaan media flip chart terhadap keterampilan menulis puisi, rendah dengan rata-rata skor pretest sebesar 53,03 dan skor posttest sebesar 65,07. Dan terdapat perbedaan pengaruh antara hasil pembelajaran siswa dengan menggunakan media film pendek dan media flip chart dengan rata-rata skor postest kelas eksperimen sebesar 84,47dan skor posttest kelas kontrol sebesar 65,07 dan selisih 19 point. Artinya, siswa mengalami pengingkatan keterampilan menulis puisi dengan menggunakan media film pendek. | |||||||||
