Abstract
The background of this research is to review the function and purpose of the organization of education in Indonesia is an effort to create a generation of a strong nation as the successor of the nation and become the leader of the country. In order for all Indonesian people to get a proper education, the government classifies three educational pathways, informal, formal and non formal education or can be known as out-of-school education. The purpose of this study is not only submitted to take one of the requirements to obtain a degree in education, also know the implementation of participatory learning strategies in improving the motivation of learning catfish farming training participants in PKBM Albir Salam. The method used is descriptive method. The research technique used is interview technique, observation and documentation. The results of this study can be concluded in the application of adult learning strategies in PKBM Albir Salam using the practice of cultivation of catfish that is the learning people faced in the training tool then the learners are tested to make the planning about catfish cultivation, followed by the implementation, then learners are required to evaluate Planning and implementation. If the people learn to do well then it says the training works well and the learners will get more value. Evaluation is also done in writing to find out how far the people learn to understand the theory given by the instructor. The desired standard score is> 70, meaning that the learners are declared successful if the value of the evaluation result is above 70. The value determination based on the interview result with the instructor is: 70-79 enough category, 80-94 good category and> 94 category very well.

| Additional Information: | Latarbelakang penelitian ini adalah meninjau fungsi dan tujuan dari penyelenggaraan pendidikan di Indonesia merupakan suatu usaha untuk menciptakan generasi bangsa yang tangguh sebagai penerus bangsa serta menjadi pemimpin negara. Agar seluruh masyarakat Indonesia mendapatkan pendidikan yang layak maka pemerinta menggolongkan tiga jalur pendidikan yaitu pendididikan informal, formal dan non formal atau dapat dikenal dengan pendidikan luar sekolah. Adapun tujuan dari penelitian ini selain diajukan untuk menempuh salah satu syarat memperoleh gelar sarjana pendidikan, juga mengetahui penerapan strategi pembelajaran partisipatif dalam meningkatkan motivasi belajar peserta pelatihan budidaya ikan lele di PKB Albir Salam. Metode yang digunakan adalah metode deskriptif. Teknik penelitian yang digunakan yaitu teknik wawancara, observasi dan dokumentasi. Hasil penelitian ini dapat disimpulkan dalam penerapan strategi pembelajaran orang dewasa di PKBM Albir Salam menggunakan praktik bududaya ikan lele yaitu warga belajar dihadapkan pada perangkat pelatihan kemudian warga belajar diuji untuk membuat perencanaan tentang budidaya ikan lele, dilanjut dengan pelaksanaan, kemudian warga belajar dituntut melakukan evaluasi mengenai perencanaan dan pelaksanaan tersebut. Jika warga belajar dapat mengerjakan dengan baik maka dikatakan pelatihan berhasil dengan baik dan warga belajar akan mendapatkan nilai lebih. Evaluasi juga dilakukan secara tertulis untuk mengetahui sejauh mana warga belajar memahami teori yang diberikan instruktur. Standar nilai yang dikehendaki adalah > 70, artinya warga belajar dinyatakan berhasil apabila nilai hasil evaluasi di atas 70. Ketentuan nilai berdasarkan hasil wawancara dengan instruktur adalah: 70-79 kategori cukup, 80-94 kategori baik dan > 94 kategori sangat baik. | |||||||||
