Abstract
This research was conducted to find out how the Dramaturgy of Silver Man Buskers in Cilegon City as a Livelihood. The focus of the research lies on the front stage, middle stage, and also the back stage of the Cilegon City Silver Man buskers. This study used a qualitative descriptive method with a dramaturgical concept approach. In both of these focuses are expected to get the expected results. The selection of informants used purposive sampling, there were three research informants consisting of the key informant Silver Man busker Cilegon City and three supporting informants. Research was obtained from observation, in-depth interviews, documentation, literature study, and online data searches. Data analysis techniques use data collection, data reduction, data display, verification and assignment of conclusions. For the validity of the data using triangulation techniques, discussions with colleagues, and member checks. The results showed that the front stage of the Silver Man buskers all tried to play their roles such as venues, self-appearances, building behavior according to the rules that apply to the maximum, the role resulting from the form of individual imitation of the activities of other individuals who are perceived as entertainers from the middle stage of Cilegon City's Silver Man buskers is an area that is used to make mental preparations to show oneself while on the front stage. The back stage of the Cilegon City Silver Man busker shows the complete figure of the Cilegon City Silver Man busker in his daily life. The conclusion is that the Silver Man singer performs dramaturgy, namely the process of major change through self-presentation which is carried out on the front stage and the back stage. It seems clear that their treatment is different at each stage both attitude and behavior

| Additional Information: | Penelitian ini dilakukan untuk mengetahui bagaimana Dramaturgi Pengamen Silver Man di Kota Cilegon. Fokus penelitian terletak pada panggung depan (front stage), panggung tengah (middle stage), dan juga panggung belakang (back stage) pengamen Silver Man Kota Cilegon. Penelitian ini menggunakan kualitatif metode deskriptif dengan pendekatan konsep dramaturgi. Pada kedua fokus ini diharapkan bisa mendapatkan hasil yang diharapkan. Pemilihan informan menggunakan purposive sampling, informan penelitian berjumlah tiga yang terdiri dari data key informan pengamen Silver Man Kota Cilegon dan tiga informan pendukung. Penelitian diperoleh dari observasi, wawancara mendalam, dokumentasi, studi pustaka, dan penelusuran data online. Teknik analisis data menggunakan pengumpulan data, reduksi data, display data, verifikasi dan penugasan kesimpulan. Untuk keabsahan data menggunakan teknik triangulasi, diskusi dengan teman sejawat, dan membercheck. Hasil penelitian menunjukan bahwa panggung depan (front stage) pengamen Silver Man semuanya mencoba memainkan perannya seperti tempat peristiwa, penampilan diri, membangun perilaku sesuai aturan yang berlaku dengan maksimal, peran yang dihasilkan dari wujud peniruan individu terhadap aktivitas individu lain yang dipersepsikan sebagai tokoh penghibur dari panggung tengah (middle stage) pengamen Silver Man Kota Cilegon merupakan area yang dipakai untuk melakukan persiapan mental untuk menunjukan diri saat berada di panggung depan. Panggung belakang (back stage) pengamen Silver Man Kota Cilegon yaitu menunjukan sosok seutuhnya dari pengamen Silver Man Kota Cilegon dalam kehidupan sehariharinya. Kesimpulannya adalah pengamen Silver Man melakukan dramaturgi yaitu proses perubahan besar melalui presentasi diri yang di lakukan dalam panggung depan dan panggung belakang. Nampak jelas bahwa perlakuan mereka berbeda di setiap panggungnya baik sikap maupun perilaku. | |||||||||
