Abstract

The background of this research is (1) the lack of availability of learning media (2) the lack of student motivation in participating in the learning process; and (3) Science learning outcomes are still not optimal. The focus of this research problem, researchers will only limit it to the design, development, feasibility, effectiveness, and student responses to Canva video-based learning media on class 3 object motion material at SDN Cikasungka 2, Solear District, Tangerang Regency. This study aims to develop learning media, analyze feasibility, analyze effectiveness, and analyze student responses to Canva video-based learning media on Canva video-based object motion material. The development model used in this study is the Borg and Gall Research and Development (R&D) approach. The final findings in this research and development are limited student trials of products in the form of Canva video-based learning media for grade 3 students at SDN Cikasungka 2, Solear District, Tangerang Regency. This main field trial was carried out by researchers by means of pre-test and post-test. It can be seen that the pre-test scores obtained an average learning outcome or a mean of 77.64. Meanwhile, the post-test score obtained an average learning outcome or mean of 91.11 with the number of respondents or students used as test subjects as many as 36 students. In the next trial, the researcher distributed questionnaires to students. This questionnaire is limited to knowing the responses and responses of students to two aspects, namely, aspects of understanding and using Canva video-based learning media by obtaining the results of the average percentage of student responses to quiz learning media, which reaches 87.5% in the "very good" category . Thus the developed Canva video-based learning media is suitable for use in the learning process.

Fokus masalah penelitian ini, peneliti hanya akan membatasinya pada desain, pengembangan, kelayakan, efektivitas, dan respon siswa terhadap media pembelajaran berbasis Canva video pada materi gerak benda kelas 3 SDN Cikasungka 2 Kecamatan Solear Kabupaten Tangerang. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengembangan media pembelajaran, menganalisis kelayakan, menganalisis efektivitas, dan menganalisis respon siswa terhadap media pembelajaran berbasis Canva video pada materi gerak benda berbasis Canva video. Model pengembangan yang digunakan pada penelitian ini adalah Research and Development (R&D) pendekatan Borg dan Gall. Hasil temuan akhir pada penelitian dan pengembangan ini adalah uji coba siswa secara terbatas terhadap produk berupa media pembelajaran berbasis Canva video untuk peserta didik kelas 3 SDN Cikasungka 2 Kecamatan Solear Kabupaten Tangerang. Uji coba lapangan utama ini dilakukan peneliti dengan cara melakukan pre-test dan post-test. Dapat diketahui nilai pretest memperoleh rata-rata hasil belajar atau mean sebesar 77,64. Sedangkan untuk nilai post-test memperoleh rata-rata hasil belajar atau mean sebesar 91,11 dengan jumlah responden atau peserta didik yang dipakai sebagai subjek uji coba adalah sebanyak 36 peserta didik. Uji coba selanjutnya peneliti menyebar angket untuk peserta didik. Angket ini sebatas mengetahui tanggapan dan respon peserta didik terhadap dua aspek yaitu, aspek pemahaman dan penggunaan media pembelajaran berbasis Canva video dengan mendapatkan hasil presentase rata-rata respon peserta didik terhadap media pembelajaran kuis, yaitu mencapai 87,5% dengan kategori “sangat baik”. Dengan demikian media pembelajaran berbasis Canva video yang dikembangkan layak digunakan pada proses pembelajaran.
