Abstract
The discovery of the Covid-19 pandemic in Indonesia has given rise to many new habits that the government is trying to reduce the growth rate and spread of the Covid-19 virus, one of which is the Implementation of Community Activity Restrictions (PPKM). The rapid spread of the Covid-19 virus has also made people, especially in Serang City, more vigilant in choosing a mode of transportation to travel. This study aims to determine the characteristics of society during the Covid-19 pandemic. The data collection method was carried out by distributing questionnaires to 100 respondents in Serang City. Data analysis is carried out using the Regression Analysis Method with the limitations of criteria that determines the choice of mode in the form of tariffs, ease of obtaining modes, safety, comfort, quality of service, implementation of health protocols, procurement of health protocols, and travel mileage. From the survey results, the characteristics of respondents were 39% male and 61% female, with the majority being in the age category ranging from ≥ 17 years old to ≤ 25 years old, with a monthly income of ≤ Rp. 2,000,000, and the level of education is at the high school and S1 levels, which are students with an average distance traveled of ≥ 15 km. The regression value obtained is Y = 2,397 – 1,537X2 – 0.471X4 + 0.458X5 + 0.497X8 with a personal transportation selection probability of 79,3% and a probability of public transportation selection of 20,7%.

| Additional Information: | Ditemukannya pandemi Covid-19 di Indonesia menimbulkan banyak kebiasaan baru yang diupayakan pemerintah demi menekan angka pertumbuhan dan penyerbaran virus Covid-19, salah satunya adalah Pemberlakuan Pembatasan Kegiatan Masyarkat (PPKM). Cepatnya penyebaran virus Covid-19 ini juga membuat masyarakat khususnya di Kota Serang lebih waspada dalam memilih moda transportasi untuk bepergian. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui karakteristik masyarakat selama pandemi Covid-19. Metode pengumpulan data dilakukan dengan menyebar kuesioner kepada 100 responden di Kota Serang. Analisis data dilakukan dengan Metode Analisa Regresi dengan batasan kritetia yang menjadi penentu pemilihan moda berupa tarif, kemudahan mendapatkan moda, keamanan, kenyamanan, kualitas pelayanan, penerapan protokol kesehatan, pengadaan protokol kesehatan dan jarak tempuh perjalanan. Didapatkan karakteristik responden 39% berjenis kelamin laki-laki dan 61% berjenis kelamin perempuan, dengan mayoritas berada pada kategori usia berkitar antara ≥ 17 Tahun - ≤ 25 Tahun, dengan pendapatan perbulan sebanyak ≤ Rp 2.000.000, dan jenjang pendidikan setingkat SMA dan S1 yaitu pelajar dan mahasiswa dengan rata-rata jarak yang ditempuh sepanjang ≥ 15 km. Nilai regresi yang didapatkan yaitu Y = 2.397 – 1.537X2 – 0,471X4 + 0,458X5 + 0,497X8 dengan probablitias pemilihan transportasi pribadi sebesar 79,3% dan probabilitas pemilihan transportasi umum sebesar 20,7%. | |||||||||
