Abstract
This research aims to describe aspect of woman’s image contained in the novel The Woman Who Cried To The Black Moon by Dian Purnomo as a learning material for appreciaton of novel in high school. This research is a study of literary feminism criticism whose discussion directs the focus of analysis on women. This research uses qualitative research methods and analysis content techniques, is a techniques used in reasearch data so they can generate meaning from the research data. In collecting data, this reseacrh used literature study techniques, listening techniques, and note taking techniques. Based on the method applied, this research shows the image of women in the novel of Woman Who Cried to The Black Moon by Dian Purnomo wich is divided into four aspects, namely: (1) the physical image of women, shown by several physical conditions that women have or are attached to women’s lifes, (2) the psychological image of women, shown by various psychological activities that are characteristic of women, (3) the social image of women in the family, shown by the various roles of women relate tp their various domestic activities, and (4) the social image of women in society, shown by the various views of the community around women themselves. The classification of women’s images is based on Sugihastuti’s theory in her book Women in Women’s Eyes: The Persepective of Toety Heraty’s Poems. In checking the validity ofthe research data, the researcher used the reseacrher triangulation technique, namely by comparing individual opinions by involving a number of researcher who have the expertise and competence in their fields. The image of women in this research is illustrated by the women characters in the novel and forty six (46) women image data are obtained with the following details: six (6) women’s physical image data, fifteen (15) women’s psychic image data, thirteen (13) women’s data in the families, and twelve (12) women’s data in the socials. The novel Woman Who Cried to The Black Moon by Dian Purnomo can also be used as learning material for appreciation of novels in high school in the form of lesson plans (RPP). The learning material is contained in the Indonesian Language syllabus for class XII level 1 of the 2013 revised edition of the curiculum in accordanc with Permendikbud No. 22 of 2016, on basic competency (KD) 3.9 analyzing content and language in novels.

| Additional Information: | Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mendeskripsikan aspek citra perempuan yang terdapat dalam novel Perempuan yang Menangis Kepada Bulan Hitam karya Dian Purnomo sebagai bahan pembelajaran apresiasi novel di SMA. Penelitian ini merupakan bentuk kajian kritik feminisme sastra yang pembahasannya mengarahkan fokus analisis pada perempuan. Penelitian ini menggunakan metode penelitian kualitatif dan menganalisis dengan teknik menganalisis isi, yaitu teknik yang digunakan pada data penelitian sehingga dapat menghasilkan arti dari data penelitian tersebut. Dalam pengumpulan data, penelitian ini menggunakan teknik studi pustaka, teknik simak, dan teknik catat. Berdasarkan dengan metode yang diterapkan, penelitian ini memperlihatkan citra perempuan dalam novel Perempuan yang Menangis Kepada Bulan Hitam karya Dian Purnomo yang terbagi menjadi empat aspek, yaitu: (1) citra fisik perempuan, ditunjukkan dengan beberapa keadaan fisik yang dimiliki perempuan atau lekat dengan kehidupan perempuan, (2) citra psikis perempuan, ditunjukkan dengan berbagai aktivitas kejiwaan yang menjadi ciri khas perempuan,(3) citra sosial perempuan dalam keluarga, ditunjukkan dengan berbagai peran perempuan yang berkaitan dengan berbagai aktivitas domestiknya, dan (4) citra sosial perempuan dalam masyarakat, ditunjukkan dengan berbagaimacam pandangan masyarakat di sekitar terhadap perempuan itu sendiri. Pengklasifikasian citra perempuan tersebut berdasarkan teori Sugihastuti dalam bukunya yang berjudul Wanita di Mata Wanita: Perspektif Sajak-Sajak Toety Heraty. Pada pemeriksaan keabsahan data penelitian, peneliti menggunakan teknik triangulasi peneliti, yaitu dengan cara membandingkan pendapat individu dengan melibatkan sejumlah peneliti yang memiliki keahlian dan kompetensi dibidangnya. Citra perempuan pada penelitian ini tergambar oleh tokoh-tokoh perempuan yang ada pada novel dan diperoleh empat puluh enam (46) data citra perempuan dengan rincian sebagai berikut: enam (6) data citra fisik perempuan, lima belas (15) data citra psikis, tiga belas (13) data citra sosial dalam keluarga, dan dua belas (12) data citra sosial perempuan dalam masyarakat. Novel Perempuan yang Menangis Kepada Bulan Hitam karya Dian Purnomo juga dapat dijadikan sebagai bahan pembelajaran apresiasi novel di SMA dalam bentuk rencana pelaksanaan pembelajaran (RPP). Materi pembelajaran tersebut terdapat dalam silabus bahasa Indonesia kelas XII semester 1 kurikulum 2013 revisi hal tersebut sesuai dengan Permendikbud No. 22 tahun 2016, pada kompetensi dasar (KD) 3.9 menganalisis isi dan kebahasaan pada novel. | |||||||||
