Abstract
This study aims to describe the form of Indonesian cursing referring to circumstances and the context of cursing in the speech of Podkesmas podcasters in June 2021 using the SPEAKING formula. The method in this research uses qualitative descriptive method. The source of this data is obtained from the transcription of the speech of Podkesmas podcasters on the Spotify application for the June 2021 period. The data collection technique used in this research is the listening method with basic tapping techniques and advanced techniques in the form of note-taking techniques. This research uses the pragmatic pairing method with the basic technique of sorting out the determining elements (PUP) and advanced techniques in the form of lexical analysis and contextual analysis. The results showed that the form of cursing referring to Indonesian circumstances was found as much as 52 data, which are detailed as follows: (1) cursing in the form of words as much as 44 data; (2) cursing in the form of phrases as much as 6 data; (3) cursing in the form of clauses as much as 2 data. Then, research based on the SPEAKING context found 8 contexts, which are detailed as follows: (1) to express annoyance; (2) to express anger; (3) to insult others; (4) as an expression of sarcasm; (5) as a form of expression of assertiveness; (6) to express feelings of pleasure, amazement, and admiration; (7) to build an atmosphere of intimacy; and (8) to foster a humorous situation in the speech event.

| Additional Information: | Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mendeskripsikan bentuk makian bahasa Indonesia bereferensi keadaan dan konteks makian dalam tuturan penyiar siniar Podkesmas periode Juni 2021 menggunakan formula SPEAKING. Metode dalam penelitian ini menggunakan metode deskriptif kualitatif. Sumber data ini diperoleh dari transkripsi tuturan penyiar siniar Podkesmas pada aplikasi Spotify periode Juni 2021. Teknik pengumpulan data yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini adalah metode simak dengan teknik dasar sadap dan teknik lanjutan berupa teknik catat. Penelitian ini menggunakan metode padan pragmatis dengan teknik dasar pilah unsur penentu (PUP) dan teknik lanjutan berupa analisis leksikal dan analisis kontekstual. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa bentuk makian bereferensi keadaan bahasa Indonesia ditemukan sebanyak 52 data, yang diperinci sebagai berikut: (1) makian berbentuk kata sebanyak 44 data; (2) makian berbentuk frasa sebanyak 6 data; (3) makian berbentuk klausa sebanyak 2 data. Lalu, penelitian berdasarkan konteks SPEAKING ditemukan sebanyak 8 konteks, yang diperinci sebagai berikut: (1) mengungkapkan rasa kejengkelan; (2) meluapkan rasa amarah; (3) bentuk penghinaan kepada orang lain; (4) sebagai ungkapan sindiran; (5) sebagai bentuk ungkapan ketegasan; (6) mengekspresikan perasaan senang, takjub, dan kagum; (7) membangun suasana keakraban; dan (8) menumbuhkan situasi humor pada peristiwa tutur. | |||||||||
