Abstract
A floating lift net is a type of lift net that can move around with the help of a boat to the desired fishing location. The floating lift net operated in Lada Bay generally comes from Panimbang and Citeureup. This study aims to determine the productivity of floating lift nets in Lada Bay. The research was conducted in April to June 2022 in Lada Bay through survei and experimental fishing. The primary data consists of floating lift net dimension, condition of the fishing ground, and catch. The productivity of the lift net is analyzed based on the fishing unit's productivity value and the fishermen's productivity. The dimension of the floating lift net is 12.8 x 12.8 m. The water condition includes temperatures ranging from 30-34oC, currents of 8-19 s, depths of 8-15 meters, 30-33 ppt salinity, and sand with coral sediment. The average productivity is 9,96 kg/trip. The highest productivity is in the northeast of Tanjung Lesung and the lowest productivity is in the northwest of Liwungan island. The composition of the top floating net catches is from anchovies as much as 54%, ponyfishes 27%, sardine 7%, moonfish 5%, trevally 3%, mantis shrimp 3%, squid 1%. Proportion of catch consist of 49% main catch and 51% by-catch.
