Abstract
National food security can be realized by relying on local food resources that contain diversity between regions and avoid dependence on food suppliers. Local food can be produced and processed by Micro, Small and Medium Enterprises (MSMEs) to get added value. MSMEs have an important and strategic role in national economic development. The purpose of this research is to find and inditifying the base of Serang City local food and to identifying the potential of Micro Small Medium Enterprises based on local food in Serang City. The method in this research used a descriptive method with the research location in Serang City. The data used are primary and secondary data. Data analysis using the Location Quotient Analysis (LQ), Localization Coefficient Analysis (α), Specialization Coefficient Analysis (β), Basic Service Ratio Analysis (BSR), and Regional Investment Multiplier Analysis (RIM). The results showed that Sate Bandeng is the local food base of Serang and Cipocok Jaya Sub-districts, Gipang is the local food base of Kasemen Sub- districts, Kue Satu is the local food base of Kasemen Sub-districts, Kue Tengteng is the local food base of Serang and Kasemen Sub-districts, and Krutang is the local food base of the Curug Sub-districts. The results of the analysis of the economic potential of local food in Serang City were used as a benchmark in determining the potential of MSMEs based on local food in Serang City. Setiap daerah memiliki potensi pangan lokal yang oleh penduduknya dapat diolah menjadi sumber pangan sehari-hari sehingga tidak tergantung pasokan pangan dari daerah lain. Ketahanan pangan nasional dapat diwujudkan dengan bertumpu pada sumber daya pangan lokal yang mengandung keragaman antar daerah dan menghindari ketergantungan pada pemasok pangan. Pangan lokal dapat diproduksi dan diolah oleh UMKM (Usaha Mikro, Kecil, dan Menengah) untuk mendapatkan nilai tambah. Usaha Mikro, Kecil dan Menengah (UMKM) mempunyai peran penting dan strategis dalam pembangunan ekonomi nasional. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mencari pangan lokal basis dan mengidentifikasi potensi UMKM berbasis Pangan Lokal di KotaSerang khususnya jenis Pangan Lokal Sate Bandeng, Gipang, Kue Satu, Kue Teng-teng, dan Krutang. Metode dalam penelitian ini menggunakan mtode deskriptif dengan lokasi penelitian di Kota Serang. Data yang digunakan adalah data primer dan sekunder. Data primer diperoleh dari hasil observasi dan wawancara dengan pemilik UMKM berbasis pangan lokal di Kota Serang dan data sekunder diperoleh dari Dinas Perindustrian, Perdagangan dan Koperasi Kota Serang, dan Publikasi Badan Pusat Statistik Kota Serang. Analisis data menggunakan metode location quotient (LQ), Analisis Koefisien Lokalisasi (α), Analisis Koefisien Spesialisasi (β), Analisis Basic Service Ratio (BSR), dan Analisis Regional Investment Multiplier (RIM). | |||||||||
