Abstract
Waxy corn is a new type of corn cultivated by farmers in Cilegon City whose utilization is not widely known by consumers, so it is necessary to do research whether the farming of waxy corn provides profitable prospect. The purpose of this study was to analyze costs, income, Break Event Point (BEP), and R/C Ratio in waxy corn farming. With this research, it will be known how much revenue, income, R/C Ratio and BEP which shows whether this farming is profitable or not. This type of research uses a quantitative descriptive method with the location of the research being carried out in Cilegon City, Banten Province. The research instruments used in this study include uestionnaires. The sampling technique in this study used the census method so that the number of respondents was 20 farmers. Analysis of the data used include analysis of costs, revenues, income, R/C Ratio and BEP. The results showed that the fixed cost was Rp. 1,171,633 /ha, variable cost was Rp. 14,192,201/ha. So, the total cost of waxy corn farming in one growing season was Rp. 15,363,834/ha. The revenue earned is Rp. 48,381,295/ha. The income earned is Rp. 33,017,461/ha. BEP sales of Rp. 6,912,433, BEP production of 532 Kg. R/C ratio in waxy corn farming is 3,15 which means every Rp. 1 cost incurred by farmers will be followed by an income of Rp. 3,15 means that waxy corn farming in Cilegon City, Banten Province is feasible to be developed because the farming is economoically profitable

| Additional Information: | Jagung pulut merupakan jagung jenis baru yang dibudidayakan oleh petani di Kota Cilegon yang pemanfaatannya belum banyak diketahui oleh konsumen, sehingga perlu dilakukan penelitian apakah usahatani jagung pulut memberikan prospek yang menguntungkan. Tujuan dari penelitian ini untuk menganalisis biaya, pendapatan, Break Event Point (BEP), dan R/C Ratio pada usahatani budidaya jagung pulut. Dengan penelitian ini akan diketahui berapa pendapatan, pendapatan, R/C Ratio dan BEP yang menunjukkan usahatani ini menguntungkan atau tidak. Penelitian ini menggunakan metode deskriptif kuantitatif dengan lokasi penelitian dilakukan di Kota Cilegon, Provinsi Banten. Instrumen penelitian yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini meliputi kuesioner. Teknik pengambilan sampel dalam penelitian ini menggunakan metode sensus sehingga jumlah responden adalah 20 petani. Analisis dari data yang digunakan meliputi analisis biaya, penerimaan, pendapatan, R/C Ratio dan BEP. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa biaya tetap sebesar Rp. 1.171.633/ha, biaya variabel Rp. 14.192.201/ha. Jadi, total biaya usahatani jagung pulut dalam satu musim tanam adalah Rp. 15.363.834/ha. Pendapatan yang diperoleh adalah Rp. 48.381.295/ha. Pendapatan yang diperoleh adalah Rp. 33.017.461/ha. Penjualan BEP sebesar Rp. 6.912.433, BEP produksi 532 Kg. R/C ratio usahatani jagung pulut adalah 3,15 yang berarti setiap Rp. 1 biaya yang dikeluarkan oleh petani akan diikuti dengan pendapatan sebesar Rp. 3,15 artinya usahatani jagung pulut di Kota Cilegon Provinsi Banten layak untuk dikembangkan karena pertaniannya menguntungkan secara ekonomis | |||||||||
