Abstract

ANALYSIS BEARING CAPACITY OF BORED PILE AND PILE FOUNDATION USING N-SPT DATA AND PLAXIS SOFTWARE (Case Study: Building Project Grand Serela Cilegon) Resty Fauziyah Octaviany ABSTRACT Pile foundation have function to carry and hold the load acting on it. Each foundation must be capable of supporting the load until a predetermined safety factor limit. In a building sub-structure Grand Serela Cilegon using the type of bored pile. Bored pile is one that has a foundation in good carrying capacity in addition to the foundation pile. Its will distribute stresses that occur in the upper structural loads into the subsoil considering the weight of buildings and other elements in it requires a distribution that is proportional to bearing capacity. The purpose of this study was to analyze the bearing capacity of bored pile foundation and pile foundation. The foundation analysis determined of bearing capacity of the bored pile foundation based on field test data such as Standard Penetration Test (SPT) and laboratory tests using the method of Reese and Wright and Vesic for pile foundation. The analysis also uses Plaxis software is able to be applied its usefulness in checking stability of soil. Based on the results of the single bored pile bearing capacity calculations dimension 0.8 m using the method of Reese and Wright for point is 645,009 ton and SF = 3,7, for point BH-2 is 570,293 ton and SF = 3,2. Based on the result of pile foundation bearing capacity using the method of Vesic for point BH-1 is 778,499 ton and SF = 4.4, for point BH-2 is 646,965 ton and SF = 3,7. Based on analysis by PLAXIS software 8.2 version, bearing capacity of pile group is 1286.19 ton with SF = 4.16. So, from the results of the analysis show that foundation is safe.
