Abstract
The rapid growth of the industry has an impact on competition between companies, human resource planning is an important factor to achieve company goals. The success of the company can be determined based on the performance of human resources. There are several factors that can influence employee performance including transformational leadership style, organizational culture and work motivation. Improving employee performance to be successful and productive is a challenging task in every company. The purpose of this study is to determine an influence of transformational leadership style and organizational culture on employee performance through work motivation as intervening variable (case study at PT Empat Angkasa Ekspress). The research method used is quantitative research, in which variables are measured using a Likert scale. This research involved 64 samples of employees of PT Empat Angkasa Ekspress. Data collection techniques used in this study were interviews and questionnaires. Data analysis technique uses Partial Least Square - Structural Equation Modeling (PLS-SEM) using SmartPLS version 4. The result of this study showed that transformational leadership style and organizational culture had a positive and significant effect on work motivation and employee performance, work motivation had a negative and insignificant effect on employee performance, while transformational leadership style had a negative and insignificant effect on employee performance through work motivation as an intervening variable and organizational culture has a negative and insignificant effect on employee performance through work motivation as an intervening variable. Additional Information: | Pertumbuhan pesat industri berdampak terhadap persaingan antar perusahaan, perencanaan sumber daya manusia menjadi faktor yang penting untuk mencapai tujuan perusahaan. Keberhasilan perusahaan dapat ditentukan berdasarkan kinerja yang dimiliki sumber daya manusia. Terdapat beberapa faktor yang dapat mempengaruhi kinerja karyawan meliputi gaya kepemimpinan transformasional, budaya organisasi dan motivasi kerja. Meningkatkan kinerja karyawan untuk sukses dan produktif menjadi tugas yang menantang di setiap perusahaan. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui pengaruh kepemimpinan transformasional dan budaya organisasi terhadap kinerja karyawan melalui motivasi kerja sebagai variabel intervening (studi kasus pada PT Empat Angkasa Ekspress). Metode penelitian yang digunakan adalah penelitian kuantitatif, yang mana variabel diukur dengan menggunakan skala likert. Penelitian ini melibatkan 64 sampel karyawan PT Empat Angkasa Ekspress. Teknik pengumpulan data yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini adalah wawancara dan kuesioner/angket. Teknik analisa data menggunakan Partial Least Square - Structural Equation Modeling (PLS-SEM) menggunakan SmartPLS versi 4. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa gaya kepemimpinan transformasional dan budaya organisasi berpengaruh positif dan signifikan terhadap motivasi kerja dan kinerja karyawan, motivasi kerja berpengaruh negatif dan tidak signifikan terhadap kinerja karyawan, gaya kepemimpinan transformasional berpengaruh negatif dan tidak signifikan terhadap kinerja karyawan melalui motivasi kerja sebagai variabel intervening dan budaya organisasi berpengaruh negatif dan tidak signifikan terhadap kinerja karyawan melalui motivasi kerja sebagai variabel intervening.
