Abstract
Tujuan penelitian ini adalah untuk mengetahui, (1) pengaruh kompetensi kerja terhadap kesiapan kerja siswa kelas XII Jurusan Teknik Pemesinan SMK N 4 Kota Serang, (2) pengaruh motivasi kerja terhadap kesiapan kerja siswa kelas XII Program Studi Teknik Pemesinan SMK N 4 Kota Serang, dan (3) pengaruh kompetensi kerja dan motivasi kerja terhadap kesiapan siswa kelas XII Program Studi Teknik Pemesinan SMK Negeri 4 Kota Serang. Jenis penelitian yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini adalah kuantitatif. Variabel dalam penelitian ini adalah kompetensi kerja (X1), motivasi kerja (X2), dan kesiapan kerja (Y). Populasi dalam penelitian ini adalah siswa kelas XII Program Studi Teknik Pemesinan SMK Negeri 4 Kota Serang yang berjumlah 105 siswa. Jumlah sampel dalam penelitian ini adalah 52 siswa yang diambil dengan teknik simple random sampling. Pengumpulan data dalam penelitian ini menggunakan instrumen angket. Data tersebut diolah dengan teknik analisis data menggunakan statistik deskriptif dan inferensial (regresi). Kesimpulan dari penelitian ini adalah (1) terdapat pengaruh positif yang signifikan antara kompetensi siswa terhadap kesiapan kerja, semakin tinggi kompetensi maka semakin tinggi pula kesiapan kerja (2) terdapat pengaruh positif yang signifikan antara motivasi kerja siswa terhadap kesiapan kerja, semakin tinggi motivasi kerja maka semakin tinggi pula kesiapan kerja (3) terdapat pengaruh positif yang signifikan antara kompetensi dan motivasi kerja siswa secara simultan terhadap kesiapan kerja, semakin tinggi kompetensi dan motivasi kerja maka semakin tinggi pula kesiapan kerja.

| Additional Information: | This study sought to ascertain the following: (1) the impact of work competence on the readiness of class XII students in the Mechanical Engineering Department at SMK N 4 Serang City, (2) the impact of work motivation on the readiness of class XII students in the Mechanical Engineering Study Programme at SMK Negeri, and (3) the combined impact of work competence and work motivation. This study used quantitative research methods. Work readiness (Y), work motivation (X2), and work competence (X1) are the study's factors. 105 students from the class XII Mechanical Engineering Study Programme at SMK Negeri 4 Serang City made up the study's population. 52 students were selected as samples for this research using a simple random selection method. employing a questionnaire as the primary data collection tool in this investigation. Regression-based descriptive and inferential statistical methods are used to analyse the data.The findings of this research indicate that (1) student competency has a strong positive impact on work ready; the greater the competency, the better job readiness (2) Student work motivation has a substantial beneficial impact on work readiness; the greater the work motivation, the better the work readiness. (3) Competence and student work motivation both have a substantial beneficial impact on work readiness; the higher the competence and work motivation, the greater the level of work ready. | |||||||||
