Abstract

Berdasarkan hasil wawancara beberapa sekolah di Kota Serang, penggunaan media pembelajaran yang digunakan oleh guru cenderung kurang menarik dan variatif. Media pembelajaran yang kurang menarik dapat diatasi dengan pengembangan media pembelajaran articulate storyline serta dapat menumbuhkan kemampuan berpikir kreatif siswa SMP. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui tingkat efisiensi media pembelajaran Articulate Storyline berbasis Inquiry Learning Pada Materi Pencemaran Air dalam Menumbuhkan Kemampuan Berpikir Kreatif SMP kelas VII. Metode penelitian yang digunakan adalah Research and Development (R&D) menurut Thiagarajan (1974) sesuai dnegan kebutuhan peneliti dengan dibatasi pada tahapan penyebaran (disseminate) sampai uji coba terbatas produk. Instrumen yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini yaitu lembar angket validasi yang telah diuji oleh ahli instrumen dan lembar angket respon siswa untuk mengetahui tingkat efisiensi media pembelajaran articulate storyline yang dikembangkan. Analisis data dilakukan secara deskriptif kuantitatif dan kualitatif. Hasil penelitian ini menunjukkan bahwa tingkat efisiensi pengambangan media pembelajaran articulate storyline berbasis inquiry learning pada materi pencemaran air dinilai dengan validasi ahli materi mendapatkan persentase sebesar 84% dan masuk dalam kategori sangat valid, validasi ahli media mendapatkan nilai persentase sebesar 79% dan masuk dalam kategori valid, dan validasi ahli praktisi mendapatkan persentase sebesar 83% dan masuk dalam kategori sangat valid. Serta untuk hasil dari respon siswa juga menunjukkan nilai persentase 91,75% sebesar dan masuk dalam kategori sangat baik, sehingga penggunaan media pembelajaran articulate storyline berbasis inquiry learning pada materi pencemaran air sangat efisien dan praktis untuk digunakan oleh siswa dalam proses pembelajaran.

Additional Information: Based on the results of interviews with several schools in Serang City, the use of instructional media used by teachers tends to be less interesting and varied. Learning media that are less attractive can be overcome by developing articulate storyline learning media and can foster the creative thinking skills of junior high school students. This study aims to determine the efficiency level of Inquiry Learning-based Articulate Storyline learning media on Water Pollution Materials in Growing Creative Thinking Skills for Class VII Middle School. The research method used is Research and Development (R&D) according to Thiagarajan (1974) in accordance with the needs of researchers by being limited to the stages of dissemination to limited product trials. The instrumens used in this study were validation questionnaire sheets that had been tested by instrumen experts and student response questionnaire sheets to determine the efficiency level of the developed articulate storyline learning media. Data analysis was carried out in a quantitative and qualitative descriptive manner. The results of this study indicate that the level of efficiency in developing inquiry learning-based articulate storyline learning media on water pollution material is assessed by validating material experts to get a percentage of 84% and is included in the very valid category, media expert validation gets a percentage value of 79% and is included in the valid category, and practitioner expert validation gets a percentage of 83% and is included in the very valid category. As well as the results of student responses also show a percentage value of 91.75% and are included in the very good category, so that the use of articulate storyline learning media based on inquiry learning on water pollution material is very efficient and practical for use by students in the learning process.
