Abstract
ALENDA GHUFRAN, 2019. Effect of Time Intervals for Providing NPK Fertilizers for the Production of Cucumber Seeds (Cucumis sativus L.) Hybrid Galur LV 2276. SUPERVISED by Susiyanti, Fitria Riany Eris, U.Sumpena. The purpose of this study was to determine the effect of the time interval application of NPK fertilizer on the growth and product of cucumber seeds (Cucumis sativus L.) strain LV 2276. This study held on September till November 2018 at the Vegetable Crop Research Institute in Lembang, West Bandung. This study used Randomized Group Design (RBD) with one factor. This factor is the NPK Fertilizer Time Interval consisting of 6 levels, namely 5, 10, 15, 20, 25 and 30 day after planting. The results of the study showed that parameters of plant height a week after planting were 18.09 cm, diameter of fruit 5 day after planting (66.55 cm), weight for 5 day after planting (624.65 grams), water content analize 5 day after planting (8.96%), and conductivity test 5 day after planting (0.85), except for height plant parameters 2 - 4 week after planting, fruit length, viability test and vigor test. Tanaman mentimun (Cucumis sativus L.) tersebar hampir di seluruh wilayah Indonesia dan umumnya ditanam di dataran rendah sampai menengah yaitu dengan ketinggian 200-800 mdpl), telah terjadi penurunan hasil produksi mentimun dari tahun 2010 hingga tahun 2015. Tanaman mentimun memerlukan unsur hara sebagai penunjang pertumbuhan dan akan mempengaruhi hasil produksi. Peningkatan produktivitas lahan juga merupakan salah satu cara untuk meningkatkan laju produksi komoditi ini. Tujuan penelitian ini adalah untuk mengetahui pengaruh interval waktu pemberian pupuk NPK terhadap pertumbuhan dan hasil benih mentimun (Cucumis sativus L.) galur LV 2276. Penelitian dilaksanakan di lahan Balai Penelitian Tanaman Sayuran Kecamatan Lembang Bandung Barat pada bulan September- November 2018. Penelitian ini menggunakan Rancangan Acak Kelompok (RAK) dengan satu factor. Faktor tersebut adalah Interval Waktu Pemberian Pupuk NPK terdiri dari 6 taraf yaitu 5, 10, 15, 20, 25 dan 30 HST. Hasil penelitian menunjukan bahwa. parameter tinggi tanaman berbeda nyata dengan hasil terbaik pada 1 MST yaitu 18,09 cm, serta sangat nyata pada diameter buah 66,55 mm, berat buat 624,65 gram dan uji kadar air 8,96%, kecuali pada parameter tinggi tanaman 2 MST – 4 MST, panjang buah, uji viabilitas dan uji vigor. | ||||||||||||
