Abstract

The background of this research is because (1) there are publishers who do not describe core competencies (KI), basic competencies (KD), and learning objectives, (2) the material presented in LKS is difficult for students to understand because it is full of text, (3) material that presented does not yet lead to a problem-based learning context, (4) Student Worksheets (LKS) are not yet in accordance with the components of the module preparation namely self-instruction, self-contained, stand-alone, adaptable, and user-friendly, (5) Student Worksheets (LKS) have not there are illustrations/pictures related to the material for the balance of life in the world and the hereafter, (6) the appearance of the LKS is less attractive to learning motivation, (7) there are no learning instructions in the LKS so that students can easily study the material independently, (8) there is no answer key in the LKS and self-reflection so that students know their level of success in independent learning. This study aims to develop learning media, analyze feasibility, analyze effectiveness, and analyze student responses to problem-oriented learning-oriented Al-Quran Hadith modules on the material of life balance in the world and the hereafter in class VIII of SMP Assalam Jayanti, Tangerang Regency. The development model used in this research is Research and Development (R&D) with the ADDIE model (Analysis, Design, Development, Implementation, Evaluation), the test subject for class VIII students with a quasi-experimental approach. The results of this study indicate that the development of problem-based learning-oriented Al-Quran Hadith modules is in accordance with the method of preparing modules and problem-based learning syntax. The feasibility of the problem-oriented learning-oriented Al-Quran Hadith module according to the validation of material experts is 95.65% and the validation of media experts is 90%, which is feasible and does not need to be revised. The effectiveness of learning using the Al-Quran Hadith module oriented to problem-based learning obtained an N-Gain score of 78.3% in the effective category. Student response to the problem-based learning-oriented Al-Quran Hadith module of 83.53% has an attractive criteria level and does not need revision.

Additional Information: Penelitian ini dilatarbelakangi karena (1) Terdapat penerbit yang tidak menguraikan Kompetensii Intii (KI), Kompetensii Dasari (KD), dan tujuani pembelajaran, (2) Materi yang disajikani dalam LKS sulit dipahami oleh siswa karena penuh dengan teks, (3) Materi yang disajikan belum mengarah ke konteks pembelajaran berbasis masalah, (4) Lembar Kerja Siswa (LKS) belum sesuai dengan komponen penyusunan moduli yaitui selfi instructioni, selfi containedi, standi alonei, adaptablei, dan useri friendly, (5) Lembar Kerja Siswai (LKS) belum terdapat ilustrasi/gambar terkait materi keseimbangan hidup di dunia dan akhirat, (6) Tampilan LKS kurang menarik motivasi belajar, (7) Dalam LKS belum terdapat intruksi belajar agar siswa mudah mempelajari materi dengan mandiri belajar, (8) Dalam LKS belum terdapat kunci jawaban dan refleksi diri agar siswa mengetahui tingkat keberhasilannya dalam belajar mandiri. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengembangan media pembelajaran, menganalisis kelayakan, menganalisis efektivitas, dan menganalisis respon siswa terhadap modul Al-Quran Hadits berorientasi pembelajaran berbasis masalah pada materi keseimbangan hidup di dunia dan akhirat di kelas VIII SMP Assalam Jayanti Kabupaten Tangerang. Model pengembangan yang digunakan pada penelitian ini adalah Research and Development (R&D) dengan model ADDIE (Analysis, Design, Development, Implementation, Evaluation), subjek uji coba siswa kelas VIII dengan pendekatan quasi eksperimen. Hasil penelitian ini menunjukkan pengembangan modul Al-Quran Hadits berorientasi pembelajaran berbasis masalah telah sesuai cara penyusunan modul serta sintaks pembelajaran berbasis masalah. Kelayakan modul Al-Quran Hadits berorientasi pembelajaran berbasis masalah menurut validasi ahli materi sebesar 95,65% dan validasi ahli media sebesar 90% yaitu layak dan tidak perlu direvisi. Efektivitas pembelajaran dengan menggunakan modul Al-Quran Hadits berorientasi pembelajaran berbasis masalah diperoleh skor N-Gain sebesar 78,3% dalam kategori sudah efektif. Respon peserta didik terhadap modul Al-Quran Hadits berorientasi pembelajaran berbasis masalah sebesar 83,53% memiliki tingkat kriteria menarik dan tidak perlu revisi.
