Abstract

The purpose of this study is to describe the form, class, and function of the jargon that exists on the @vmuliana tiktok account. The method used in this study is descriptive qualitative, with data collection methods and techniques in the form of observation using note-taking techniques. The data source used in this study is the video on the @vmuliana tiktok account. The results of this study found 65 jargon data on Vina Muliana's tiktok video, namely 38 jargon in the form of basic words, 4 jargon in the form of formed words, 2 jargon in the form of acronyms, 7 jargon in the form of abbreviations, 2 jargon in the form of fragments, 11 jargon in the form of composites, and 1 reduplication jargon. There are 11 jargons belonging to the verb class, 4 adjective jargons and 50 jargons belonging to the noun class. In addition, there are also 11 data that have an instrumental function, 3 regulatory function data, 41 representational function data, and 10 heuristic function data.

Tujuan penelitian ini adalah untuk mendeskripsikan bentuk, kelas, dan fungsi jargon yang ada pada akun tiktok @vmuliana. Metode yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini adalah kualitatif deskriptif, dengan metode dan teknik pengumpulan data berupa observasi dengan teknik catat. Sumber data yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini adalah video pada akun tiktok @vmuliana. Hasil dari penelitian ini ditemukan 65 data jargon pada video tiktok Vina Muliana, yaitu 38 jargon dalam bentuk kata dasar, 4 jargon bentuk kata bentukan, 2 jargon bentuk akronim, 7 jargon bentuk singkatan, 2 jargon bentuk penggalan, 11 jargon bentuk kompositum, dan 1 jargon bentuk reduplikasi. Terdapat 11 jargon yang termasuk kelas kata kerja, 4 jargon kata sifat, dan 50 jargon yang termasuk kelas kata benda. Selain itu terdapat pula 11 data yang mempunyai fungsi instrumental, 3 data fungsi regulasi, 41 data fungsi representasional, dan 10 data fungsi heuristik.
