Abstract

DEVELOPMENT OF FLIPBOOK DIGITAL LEARNING MEDIA USING CANVA APPLICATION IN THE THEMATIC LEARNING OF CLASS V ELEMENTARY SCHOOL Reni Rahmawati 2227180014 Primary Teacher Education Faculty of Teacher Training and Education, Sultan Ageng Tirtayasa University Jalan Raya Jakarta Km4 Serang Banten Supervisor: (1) Indhira Asih V.Y, S.Si, M.Pd., (2) Dr. Sukirwan, M.Pd E-mail : [email protected] ABSTRACT This research is based on the problems found in students who have difficulty understanding thematic learning material and the lack of interest of students in learning is seen because during the learning process students only listen, see and record what is conveyed by the teacher. The development of flipbook digital media is very useful and plays an important role in learning at school so that students look enthusiastic and enjoy learning. The purpose of this study was to determine the feasibility of the media and students' responses to digital flipbook learning media using the Canva application in thematic learning theme 3 sub-theme 2 healthy food for fifth grade elementary school students. This study uses the Research and Development (RnD) method according to Sugiyono with six stages of development, namely potential and problems, data collection, product design, design validation, design revision, product trial (limited). The results of this study were 1) validation by media experts obtained an average of 89% in the very feasible category, validation by material experts obtained an average of 86.11% in the very feasible category and validation by linguists obtained an average of 79% in the feasible category; 2) the response of students as a whole obtains 95% in a very good category. Pengembangan media digital flipbook sangat bermanfaat dan berperan penting dalam pembelajaran di sekolah sehingga peserta didik terlihat antusias dan senang dalam belajar. Tujuan penelitian ini untuk mengetahui kelayakan media dan respon peserta didik terhadap media pembelajaran digital flipbook menggunakan aplikasi canva pada pembelajaran tematik tema 3 subtema 2 makanan sehat untuk peserta didik kelas V Sekolah dasar. Penelitian ini menggunakan metode Research and Development (RnD) menurut sugiyono dengan enam tahapan pengembangan yaitu potensi dan masalah, pengumpulan data, desain produk, validasi desain, revisi desain, uji coba produk (terbatas). Hasil penelitian ini yaitu 1) validasi oleh ahli media memperoleh rata-rata 89% kategori sangat layak, validasi oleh ahli materi memperoleh rata-rata 86,11% kategori sangat layak dan validasi oleh ahli bahasa memperoleh rata-rata 79% kategori layak; 2) respons peserta didik secara keseluruhan memperoleh 95% dengan kategori sangat baik.
