Abstract

Emissions in the transportation sector are the largest contributor, around 60% - 70% of air pollution in big cities. By presidential regulation, number 98 of 2021 contains Indonesia's commitment to the Paris Agreement's contribution to low-emission development (Net Zero Carbon) and the target of reducing GHG emissions by 29% in 2030. To this regulation, this research was conducted to know the value of gas emissions exhaust from motorized vehicles and determine the value of traffic volume on urban roads in Serang City, especially on Ahmad Yani Street and Jenderal Sudirman Street. This research was conducted by conducting a traffic survey at 4 points of urban roads in Serang City, then calculating the total emission of motorized vehicles using the IPCC guidelines 2006 calculation method with a Tier-1 approach. Based on the results of the analysis with the surveyed road length of 3.37 KM with the default emission factor, the total emission of motorized vehicles in Serang City on Monday 12 December 2022 was 22,956.483 Kg emissions/day; and the total emissions of motor vehicles on Friday 16 December 2022, was 22,157.587 kg of emissions/day. From the results obtained, Serang City Urban Roads emissions have not shown any impact from emissions generated on the transportation sector.

Additional Information: Emisi gas buang pada sektor transportasi merupakan penyumbang terbesar sekitar 60% - 70% pada polusi udara di kota-kota besar. Terdapat peraturan presiden nomor 98 tahun 2021 yang berisi tentang komitmen Indonesia pada konstribusi Paris Agreement terhadap pembangunan rendah emisi (Net Zero Carbon) dan target penurunan emisi GRK sebesar 29% pada tahun 2030. Sesuai dengan peraturan tersebut penelitian ini dilakukan dengan tujuan mengetahui nilai emisi gas buangan dari kendaraan bermotor dan mengetahui nilai volume lalu lintas di jalan perkotaan Kota Serang, terutama di Jalan Ahmad Yani dan Jalan Jenderal Sudirman. Penelitian ini dilakukan dengan melakukan survei lalu lintas di 4 titik ruas jalan perkotaan Kota Serang, kemudian menghitung total emisi kendaraan bermotor dengan menggunakan metode perhitungan IPCC guidelines 2006 dengan pendekatan Tier-1. Berdasarkan hasil analisis dengan panjang jalan yang di survei yaitu sepanjang 3,37 KM dengan faktor emisi default, emisi total kendaraan bermotor di Kota Serang pada hari Senin 12 Desember 2022 yaitu 22.956,483 Kg emisi/hari; dan emisi total kendaraan bermotor pada hari Jumat 16 Desember 2022 yaitu 22.157,587 Kg emisi/hari. Dari hasil yang didapatkan emisi di Jalan Perkotaan Kota Serang belum menunjukan adanya dampak dari emisi yang dihasilkan pada sektor transportasi.
