Abstract

This study aims to develop media monopoly on the theme of events in life and to find out the responses of students in using monopoly board media in learning and to find out the feasibility of the developed media. In this study using the R&D research method on the Brog and Gall development design which has been modified by Sugiyono which includes 6 stages such as: 1) Problem analysis; 2) Data collection; 3) Product design; 4) Expert validation; 5) Design revision; 6) Product trials. This research was conducted in class V SDN Mandalawangi 2. Based on the feasibility results that had been carried out by a team of experts such as media experts, material experts and language experts. The results of research conducted by media experts obtained an average score of 89%, validation by material experts obtained an average score of 88% and validation results by linguists obtained an average score of 82%. The results of the student response questionnaire in the limited trial obtained a score of 90%. So it can be concluded that this research produces media products in the form of monopoly boards on the theme of events in life. Presenting the feasibility results of the validation of media experts in the "Very Eligible" category, material experts in the "Very Eligible" category, linguists in the "Very Eligible" category. The percentage of student responses is included in the "Very Good" category. So that the product is said to be suitable for use as a medium in the learning process in elementary schools. Additional Information: Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengembangkan media monopoli pada tema peristiwa dalam kehidupan dan mengetahui respons peserta didik dalam menggunakan media papan monopoli dalam belajar serta mengetahui kelayakan media yang dikembangkan. Dalam penelitian ini menggunakan metode penelitian R&D pada desain pengembangan Brog and Gall yang telah dimodifikasi oleh Sugiyono yang meliputi 6 tahapan seperti: 1) Analisis masalah; 2) Pengumpulan data; 3) Desain produk; 4) Validasi ahIi; 5) Revisi desain; 6) Uji coba produk. Penelitian ini dilaksanakan di kelas V SDN Mandalawangi 2. Berdasarkan hasil kelayakan yang telah dilakukan oleh tim ahli seperti ahli media, ahli materi dan ahli bahasa. Hasil penelitian yang dilakukan oleh ahli media di dapatkan skor rata-rata sebesar 89%, validasi oleh ahli materi medapatkan skor rata-rata 88% Dan hasil validasi ahli bahasa mendapatkan skor rata-rata sebesar 82%. Adapun hasil angket respon peserta didik pada uji coba terbatas mendapatkan skor sebesar 90%. Maka dapat disimpulkan bahwa penelitian ini menghasilkan produk media berupa papan monopoli pada tema peristiwa dalam kehidupan. Presentase hasil kelayakan validasi ahli media termasuk kategori "Sangat Layak", ahli materi termasuk kategori "Sangat Layak", ahli bahasa termasuk kategori "Sangat Layak". Persentase respon peserta didik termasuk dalam kategori "Sangat Baik". Sehingga produk dikatakan layak untuk digunakan sebagai media dalam proses pembelajaran di Sekolah Dasar.
