Abstract

This research was motivated by the low ability of students’ mathematical problem solving, so there was a need of learning model that is able to enhance students’ problem solving and self-esteem. One of the learning models that can be used is CORE (Connecting, Organizing, Reflecting and Extending) mixed with scientific approach. The result show: students’ mathematical problem solving who get CORE model mixed with scientific approach are better than student who get scientific learning. The enhancement students’ mathematical problem solving who get CORE model with scientific approach are better than student who get scientific learning
