Abstract

This study aims to improve student learning outcomes in science subjects in grade IV students through the implementation of CPS (Creative Problem Solving) Learning Strategy. This research is done because of the low value of student learning outcomes at the value of UTS even semester on science subjects. Subjects in this study as many as 45 students. Data collection techniques used were observation sheets, written tests, student worksheets (LKS), interview guides, and documentation. While the instruments used for data collection are, test the results of student learning in the form of multiple choice written test (PG) and observation sheet for students and teachers. The results showed that the increase in student activity that causes increased student learning outcomes. In the first cycle percentage of student activity reached 69.28%, while in second cycle the percentage of student activity increased by 87%. In the first learning cycle average score of student learning result that is 59,88 with 42% completeness percentage. While the results of the test on the second cycle average value of student learning outcomes is 75.15 with 73% that completeness percentage. The result of the test after the learning process is categorized well with the success indicator reaching the value above the KKM of science subjects is 62. It shows that through the implementation of CPS (Creative Problem Solving) Learning Strategy can improve student learning outcomes.
