Abstract
This research aimed to determine the correlation between the students learning activeness with students’ cognitive abilities on the human digestive system disorder sub concept through cooperative script learning method. The method used in this research was correlational descriptive method. The population of this research were all student of grade XI Science SMAN 8 Serang City Academic Year 2016/2017. The sample in this research are student of grade XI Science 3 which determined by simple random sampling technique. Students learning activeness was measured by observation sheets and the student’s cognitive ability was measured by essay questions. The results that an average of value students’ learning activeness was, 83,66, which was categorized good, and the average value of students’ cognitive abilities was 71,07, categorized as good. The result showed that students’ learning activeness was fairly correlated to cognitive abilities of students, with the value of correlation coefficient was of 0,542.

| Additional Information: | Tujuan penelitian ini adalah untuk mengetahui hubungan antara keaktifan belajar siswa dengan kemampuan kognitif siswa pada sub konsep gangguan sistem pencernaan manusia melalui metode pembelajaran cooperative script. Metode penelitian yang dilakukan adalah metode deskriptif korelasional. Populasi penelitian adalah seluruh siswa kelas XI IPA SMAN 8 Kota Serang Tahun Ajaran 2016/2017. Sampel pada penelitian ini yaitu siswa kelas XI IPA 3 yang ditentukan dengan teknik simple random sampling. Keaktifan belajar siswa diukur menggunakan lembar observasi dan kemampuan kognitif siswa diukur menggunakan soal uraian. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan keaktifan belajar siswa tergolong baik dengan nilai rata-rata 83,66. Kemampuan kognitif siswa termasuk ke dalam kategori baik dengan nilai rata-rata 71,07. Berdasarkan hasil analisis uji korelasi menunjukkan hubungan yang cukup kuat antara keaktifan belajar dengan kemampuan kognitif siswa, dengan nilai koefisien korelasi sebesar 0,542. | |||||||||
