Abstract

An Analysis of The Implementation of Teacher’s Technique In Writing Class at The Second Grade of SMPN 1 Baros Siti Ianah NIM: 2223103055 ABSTRACT The objective of this research described the technique that the teacher used in writing class at the second grade of SMPN 1 Baros. Researcher used qualitative research. Subject of this research were English teacher and some of the students of the second grade in VIIID class, there were three students as the subject. She collected the data using observation, interview, and documentation. Data were analyzed by using procedure analyzing data by Bogdan & Biklen, there were data reduction, data display, and verification. The result of the research showed that the teacher used some of techniques such as; clustering, leading question, direct instruction, and technique in using media. The technique was implemented by the teacher to make the students interest to follow the writing class. The result of the implementation of teacher’s technique had various effects for students.The result of interview and observation showed that students more interested studying in using media and group discussion, it means that the clustering technique and technique in using media could make the students interested to write and enjoyed the class. So, this result make the researcher concluded that choosing the best technique in teaching writing is very important to make the students active and interest to write.
