Abstract

The application of variational learning methods is a combination of the use of multiple learning methods in an effort to improve learning outcomes. This study aims to find out (1) How to apply variational learning methods to foster children's reading and learning from an early age in biMBA AIUEO Kunciran, Tangerang City (2) Development of reading and learning from an early age through the application of variational learning methods in biMBA AIUEO Kunciran, Tangerang City. In this study, the study used descriptive methods with qualitative approaches and in data collection techniques through observation, interviews, and documentation. The informants in this study were 1 unit head, 2 teachers, and 4 students and 4 parents at the biMBA AIUEO Kunciran. The results of the study have shown that (1) The application of variational learning methods in biMBA AIUEO can be said to be quite successful, this is seen in the application of learning methods in biMBA AIUEO, namely fun learning, small step system, individual system, and variations skill (2) There are developments in children's reading interest and learning.This is achieved through the application of variational learning methods. The development of reading interest is demonstrated by children being able to read simple words, enjoy reading activities, already know the benefits of reading, often children doing reading activities, and enjoy diverse reading sources. Meanwhile, the development of children's learning interest is shown with the enthusiasm of the child to go to biMBA, paying attention to the implementation of the learning process, and the good response from the child during the learning process.

Additional Information: Penerapan metode pembelajaran variatif merupakan kombinasi penggunaan beberapa metode pembelajaran secara bervariasi sebagai upaya meningkatkan hasil belajar. Kajian penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui (1) Bagaimana penerapan metode pembelajaran variatif dalam menumbuhkan minat baca dan belajar anak sejak usia dini di biMBA AIUEO Kunciran, Kota Tangerang (2) Perkembangan minat baca dan belajar anak sejak usia dini melalui penerapan metode pembelajaran variatif di biMBA AIUEO Kunciran, Kota Tangerang. Dalam penelitian ini, penelitian menggunakan metode deskriptif dengan pendekatan kualitatif dan dalam teknik pengumpulan data melalui observasi, wawancara, dan dokumentasi. Informan dalam penelitian ini yaitu 1 kepala unit, 2 pengajar, dan 4 peserta didik beserta 4 orang tua di biMBA AIUEO Kunciran. Hasil penelitian yang sudah dilakukan menunjukkan bahwa (1) Penerapan metode pembelajaran variatif di biMBA AIUEO dapat dikatakan cukup berhasil hal ini dilihat dari penerapan metode pembelajaran di biMBA AIUEO yaitu fun learning, small step system, individual system, dan variation skill (2) Terdapat perkembangan minat baca anak dan minat belajar anak melalui penerapan metode pembelajaran variatif. Perkembangan minat baca dibuktikan dengan anak mampu membaca kata sederhana, senang melakukan kegiatan membaca, sudah mengetahui manfaat dari bacaan, seringnya anak melakukan kegiatan membaca, dan menyukai sumber bacaan yang beragam. Adapun perkembangan minat belajar anak ditunjukan dengan keantusiasan anak untuk berangkat ke biMBA, memperhatikan pada saat pelaksanaan proses pembelajaran, serta adanya respon baik dari anak selama proses pembelajaran.
