It also happened with two or more syllable word that can be different stressed when some student said the same word. More than 50% of them know what the stress is, but in reality, more than 90% of them are still confuse about how to pronounce the right stress in the word or sentence. They just followed their imagination to pronounce the words in the dialogue that they think match with the condition in the dialogue. It means the students have their own way to pronounce the stress. Additionally, the main reason of students’ difficulties in pronouncing stresses is still around a new word that they found in the dialogue.
