Abstract
This research was conducted to find out how effective online petitions are in developing citizen participation skills. This research uses a quantitative approach with descriptive methods. The population of this study were active students of the Teaching and Education Faculty of Sultan Ageng Tirtayasa University. The sample of respondents from this study consisted of 107 respondents, consisting of 18 majors at FKIP Untirta. The data collection technique for this study used a questionnaire using a Likert scale, which was distributed via Google Form using WhatsApp media by spreading broadcasts into groups containing active FKIP Untirta students. The sampling technique used in this study was simple random sampling, namely taking samples of members of the population randomly without looking at the existing strata in the population. Calculation of validity and reliability using the SPSS application version 26 and measuring effectiveness using the Likert Summarizing Rating (LSR) method. The results of this study showed that the interpretation of the level of effectiveness of online petitions in developing citizen participatory skills was effective, with an assessment score of 20.139 > Q2, from the average of the ideal score of this study it resulted that the percentage of effectiveness of the research was 73%. This research shows that basically, online petitions can develop citizen participatory skills because online petitions can encourage a skilled attitude that is supported intellectually and participates as a citizen through the online petition itself. Online petitions make it easy for citizens to raise issues so they can develop citizen participation skills. Keywords: online petition, participatory skills, citizens.

| Additional Information: | Penelitian ini dilakukan untuk mengetahui bagaimana efektivitas petisi online dalam mengembangkan keterampilan partisipatoris warga negara. penelitian ini menggunakan pendekatan kuantitatif dengan metode deskriptif. Populasi penelitian ini adalah mahasiswa aktif Fakultas Keguruan dan Ilmu Pendidikan Universitas Sultan Ageng Tirtayasa. Sample dari responden dari penelitian ini sebanyak 107 responden yang terdiri dari 18 jurusan di FKIP Untirta. Teknik pengumpulan data dari penelitian ini menggunakan kuesioner (angket) dengan menggunakan skala likert yang disebarkan melalui google form dengan menggunakan media WhatsApp dengan menyebarkan broadcast kedalam grup yang berisikan mahasiswa aktif FKIP Untirta. Teknik pengambilan sampel dalam penelitian ini menggunakan simple random sampling yaitu pengambilan anggota sampel dari populasi dilakukan secara acak tanpa melihat strata yang ada pada populasi yang digunakan. Perhitungan validitas dan reliabilitas menggunakan aplikasi SPSS versi 26 dan pengukuran efektivitas menggunakan metode Likert Summarting Rating (LSR). Hasil penelitian ini menghasilkan bahwa interpretasi tingkat efektivitas petisi online dalam mengembangkan keterampilan partisipatoris warga negara bernilai efektif dengan skor penilaian 20.139 > Q2, dari rata-rata skor ideal penelitian ini dihasilkan bahwa besaran persentase keefektivan dari penelitian sebesar 73%. Penelitian ini menghasilkan bahwa pada dasarnya petisi online dapat mengembangkan keterampilan partisipatoris warga negara karena petisi online dapat mendorong adanya sikap terampil yang didukung secara intelektual dan berpartisipasi seorang warga negara melalui petisi online itu sendiri. Petisi online memudahkan warga negara untuk menggalang suatu permasalahan sehingga hal tersebut dapat mengembangkan keterampilan partisipatoris warga negara.
