Abstract

Seagrasses at different levels of complexity have an influence on the presence of fish in the area. This study aimed to determine the relationship between the diversity of fish species and seagrass ecosystems in each phase of the moon. Data collection of seagrass cover was surveyed by line transect method (50 cm x 50 cm). sampling of fish from fishermen's catches used set net in based moon phase by measuring the index of diversity (H'), uniformity (E), and dominance (C) of fish. The highest seagrass cover was found at Station T3 which was 90% and the lowest was found at Station T2 that is equal to 68.33%. The highest fish bundance was at Station T2 with a total of 77 (ind/trip), and the lowest was at Station T3 with 59 (ind/trip). The diversity index value (H′) ranged from 1.98–2.21. The uniformity index (E) ranged from 0.73–0.79. The dominance index (C) ranged from 0.18-0.22. The community and abundance of fish at each station did not experience significant differences. From the analysis of the value of the ecological index shows the fish community is in a stable condition. The abundance of fish in each phase of the moon did not differ significantly, indicating that the abundance of fish in the seagrass ecosystem in Tanjung Lesung was not affected by the phase of the moon.

Additional Information: Lamun pada tingkat kompleksitas yang berbeda berpengaruh terhadap keberadaannyaikan di daerah tersebut. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui hubungan antar keragaman tersebut spesies ikan dan ekosistem lamun di setiap fase bulan. Pengumpulan data tutupan lamun disurvei dengan metode transek garis (50 cm x 50 cm). Contoh ikan hasil tangkapan nelayan menggunakan jaring apung berdasarkan fase bulan dengan mengukur indeks keanekaragaman (H'), keseragaman (E), dan dominasi (C) ikan. Paling atas tutupan lamun ditemukan di Stasiun T3 sebesar 90% dan terendah ditemukan di Stasiun T2 yaitu sebesar 68,33%. Kelimpahan ikan tertinggi terdapat di Stasiun T2 dengan jumlah 77 (ind/trip), dan terendah di Stasiun T3 sebanyak 59 (ind/trip). Itu nilai indeks keanekaragaman (H′) berkisar antara 1,98–2,21. Indeks keseragaman (E) berkisar dari 0,73–0,79. Indeks dominasi (C) berkisar antara 0,18–0,22. Komunitas dan kelimpahan ikan pada setiap stasiun tidak mengalami perbedaan yang nyata. Dari analisis nilai indeks ekologi menunjukkan komunitas ikan sedang dalam kondisi stabil. Kelimpahan ikan di setiap fase bulan tidak berbeda signifikan, hal ini menunjukkan bahwa kelimpahan ikan di ekosistem lamun di Tanjung Lesung tidak terpengaruh oleh fase bulan.
