Abstract
METHODS OF DEVELOPING EDUCATIONAL INDEPENDENCE IN CORRECTIONAL STUDENTS (ANDIKPAS) AT CLASS 1 CHILD SPECIAL DEVELOPMENT INSTITUTION (LPKA) TANGERANG SHERLY SHISILIA 1111180398 ABSTRACT A child is someone who is born from the relationship between a man and a woman. The Special Child Development Institution (LPKA) is obliged to organize education, skills training, coaching, and other fulfillment of children by statutory provisions. In the implementation of Independence Coaching from the Special Child Development Institute (LPKA) Class 1 Tangerang itself there is a shortage in terms of educators in the form of a teacher to teach all Correctional Students (ANDIKPAS) and what the factors causing Correctional Students (ANDIKPAS) in Special Development Institutions Children (LPKA) Class 1 Tangerang committed juvenile delinquency. This study uses Correctional Theory and Juvenile Delinquency Theory, as well as an Empirical Juridical research method with a qualitative descriptive analysis type of research. The findings in this thesis are that during the implementation of Independence Coaching, the Tangerang Class 1 Special Child Development Institution (LPKA) was assisted by a second party in the form of a volunteer to teach Formal and Non-Formal Education to all Correctional Students (ANDIKPAS). So, the Development of Independence in the form of Education (Intelligence), which consists of Formal Education and Nonformal Education carried out by the Class 1 Tangerang Special Children Development Institute (LPKA), has not been carried out properly. The Class 1 Tangerang Special Child Development Institution (LPKA) should have asked the Directorate General of Corrections to increase the number of educators (teachers) to teach all Correctional Students (ANDIKPAS) so that the goal of the Development of Educational Independence for all Correctional Students (ANDIKPAS) can be implemented properly and optimally. Additional Information: | ABSTRAK Anak adalah seseorang yang lahir dari hubungan pria dan wanita. Lembaga Pembinaan Khusus Anak (LPKA) berkewajiban untuk menyelenggarakan pendidikan, pelatihan keterampilan, pembinaan, dan pemenuhan lain dari anak sesuai dengan ketentuan perundang-undangan. Dalam pelaksanaan Pembinaan Kemandirian dari pihak Lembaga Pembinaan Khusus Anak (LPKA) Kelas 1 Tangerang sendiri terdapat kekurangan dalam hal tenaga pendidik berupa seorang Guru untuk mengajar kepada seluruh Anak Didik Pemasyarakatan (ANDIKPAS) dan Bagaimana faktor penyebab Anak Didik Pemasyarakatan (ANDIKPAS) di Lembaga Pembinaan Khusus Anak (LPKA) Kelas 1 Tangerang melakukan kenakalan remaja. Penelitian ini menggunakan Teori Pemasyarakatan dan Teori Juvenile Delinquency (Kenakalan Anak), serta metode penelitian Yuridis Empiris dengan jenis penelitian analisis deskriptif kualitatif. Temuan dalam skripsi ini adalah dalam pelaksaan Pembinaan Kemandirian, pihak Lembaga Pembinaan Khusus Anak (LPKA) Kelas 1 Tangerang dibantu oleh pihak ke-2 berupa seorang relawan untuk mengajar Pendidikan Formal dan Non-Formal kepada seluruh Anak Didik Pemasyarakatan (ANDIKPAS). Sehingga Pembinaan Kemandirian berupa Pendidikan (Kecerdasan) yang terdiri atas Pendidikan Formal dan Pendidikan Non-formal yang dilaksanakan oleh pihak Lembaga Pembinaan Khusus Anak (LPKA) Kelas 1 Tangerang belum terlaksana dengan baik. Seharusnya pihak Lembaga Pembinaan Khusus Anak (LPKA) Kelas 1 Tangerang meminta kepada pihak Direktoral Jenderal Pemasyarakatan untuk melakukan penambahan jumlah tenaga pendidik (Guru) untuk mengajar kepada seluruh Anak Didik Pemasyarakatan (ANDIKPAS), agar tujuan dari Pembinaan Kemandirian Pendidikan terhadap seluruh Anak Didik Pemasyarakatan (ANDIKPAS) dapat terlaksana dengan baik dan maksimal.
