Abstract

This study aims to develop Tic-Tac-Toe game-based learning media to train students collaboration skills and find out the feasibility and responses of students to Tic-Tac-Toe game-based learning media to train students collaboration skills in civics class XI subjects material The Nature of Democracy. The method used is the method (research and development) or R&D with the ADDIE model which consists of 5 stages (Analysis, Design, Development, Implementation and Evaluation). The developed Tic-Tac-Toe game-based learning media obtained "very decent" results obtained from 3 validators, namely 90.52% material validation, 93.04% media validation and 96.92% educator validation. Furthermore, the response of students to the Tic-Tac-Toe game-based learning media which was carried out with limited trials on class XI students of SMAN 2 Serang City obtained "very good" student responses of 86.04% and field trials on students class XI SMAN 6 Serang City obtained a "very good" student response of 85.68%. With this it can be concluded that the Tic-Tac-Toe game-based learning media is very appropriate to be used to train students' collaboration skills in Civics learning on The Essence of Democracy. Additional Information: Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengembangkan media pembelajaran berbasis game Tic-Tac-Toe untuk melatih keterampilan kolaborasi peserta didik dan mengetahui kelayakan serta respon peserta didik terhadap media pembelajaran berbasis game Tic-Tac-Toe untuk melatih keterampilan kolaborasi peserta didik pada mata pelajaran PPKn kelas XI materi Hakikat Demokrasi di SMAN 6 Kota Serang. Metode yang digunakan adalah metode (research and development) atau R&D dengan model ADDIE yang terdiri dari 5 tahapan (Analysis, Design, Development, Implementation dan Evaluation). Media pembelajaran berbasis game Tic-Tac-Toe yang dikembangkan memperoleh hasil “sangat layak” yang diperoleh dari 3 validator yakni validasi materi 90,52%, validasi media 93,04% dan validasi pendidik 96,92%. Selanjutnya respon peserta didik terhadap media pembelajaran berbasis game Tic-Tac-Toe yang dilakukan dengan uji coba terbatas kepada peserta didik kelas XI SMAN 2 Kota Serang memperoleh hasil respon peserta didik “sangat baik” sebesar 86,04% dan uji coba lapangan kepada peserta didik kelas XI SMAN 6 Kota Serang memperoleh hasil respon peserta didik “sangat baik” sebesar 85,68%. Dengan ini dapat disimpulkan bahwa media pembelajaran berbasis game Tic-Tac-Toe sangat layak digunakan untuk melatih keterampilan kolaborasi peserta didik pada pembelajaran PPKn materi Hakikat Demokrasi.
