Abstract

Hotel Bumi Katineung Rangkasbitung is a one-star hotel located in downtown Rangkasbitung with an installed power of 197 kVA. Buildings that operate 24 hours a day are very likely to result in wasted energy use, therefore it is necessary to carry out an energy audit to determine the profile of electricity usage. From the results of the 2021 IKE, a value of 223,584 kWh/m2/year was obtained and it was still in accordance with the standards, but from the measurement results the lighting system and air conditioning system did not meet the standards, so recommendations for improvement were needed. The method used in this study is the Equivalent Occupational Method (MEO) calculation method by changing CFL type lamps to LEDs in the lighting system to get a potential savings of 19.2%, replacing refrigerant type R-22 AC to Musicool M-22 to get potential savings of 7.5%, changing the type of standard AC to inverter AC gets a potential savings of 21% and changing an electric water heater to a heatpump water heater gets a potential savings of 41.2%. Additional Information: Hotel Bumi Katineung Rangkasbitung merupakan salah satu hotel berbintang yang berada di pusat kota Rangkasbitung dengan daya terpasang 197 kVA. Gedung yang beroperasi selama 24 jam penuh sangat memungkinkan terjadinya pemborosan terhadap penggunaan energi, oleh karena itu perlu dilakukan pelaksanaan audit energi untuk mengetahui profil penggunaan energi. Dari hasil IKE tahun 2021 didapatkan nilai sebesar 223,584 kWh/m2/tahun dan masih sesuai standar, tetapi dari hasil pengukuran sistem pencahayaan dan sistem pengkondisian udara tidak sesuai standar sehingga perlu dilakukan rekomendasi perbaikan. Metode yang digunakan pada penelitian ini yaitu metode perhitungan Method Equivalent Occupational (MEO) dengan mengganti lampu jenis CFL menjadi LED pada sistem pencahayaan mendapatkan saving potential sebesar 19,2%, mengganti zat pendingin AC jenis refrigerant R-22 menjadi Musicool M-22 mendapatkan saving potential sebesar 7,5%, mengganti jenis AC standar menjadi AC inverter mendapatkan saving potential sebesar 21% dan mengganti water heater electric menjadi heat pump water heater mendapatkan saving potential sebesar 41,2%.
