Abstract
Like most of East Asian Countries, modern law has been introduced and implemented in South-East Asian Countries, particularly in Indonesia, since the end of nineteenth century through colonization. For hundred years, Indonesian people usually tend to resolve conflict with musyawarah, Indonesia's typical mechanism that exist within adat law to settle a conflict rather than file the case to the court. Reconciliation, redress, apology and forgiveness emerge in thus type of dispute settlement.
