Abstract
ABSTRACT “Improving Students Achievement on Social Science (IPS) Though Make a Match The Subject of describing the development of transportation technology At The Fourth Student’s at SD Negeri Kadu Kancas Anyer 2014/2015” Muhammad Nasheh Ulwan 2227111201 This Research implementing cooperative learning model type Make A Match. After reaserch expected to improve the students achievment on social learning. Classroom action research was conducted with four steps they are planning, execution, observation and reflection. The subject of this research was the teacher and 25 students on the fourth grade of SDN Kadukancas Anyer, consist of 15 male and 10 female. The variables of this study were the activity of students and students achievement. In this study, the researcher using observation, test, interview and documentation. And for the data analysis of this study using descriptive analysis. The exhaustiveness student learning in the initial condition only 12 from 25 students who achieve KKM (70). The average of process social learning which obtained by applying cooperative learning model of type Make A Match cycle I was 69,4 and 15 from 25 students experiencing learning exhaustiveness with percentage 60%. In cycle II was 76,8 and 22 from 25 students had studied with the percentage of completeness 88%. Based on the result of this study, it can be conclude that by applying a type of cooperative learning model Make A Match can improve the quality of learning social studies of the fourth grade of SDN Kadukancas Anyer. The advice that can be given is a model of cooperative type Make A Match is need to be applied and develope because it can improve students activity and learning achievement of social learning. Setelah Penelitian diharapkan dapat meningkatkan Hasil belajar siswa pada pembelajaran IPS. Penelitian tindakan kelas ini dilakukan dengan empat langkah perencanaan, pelaksanaan, observasi dan refleksi. Subjek penelitian ini adalah guru dan 25 siswa di kelas IV SDN Kadukancas Anyer, terdiri dari 15 laki-laki dan 10 perempuan. Variabel penelitian ini adalah aktivitas siswa dan Hasil Belajar Siswa. Dalam penelitian ini, peneliti menggunakan observasi, tes, wawancara dan dokumentasi. Analisis data penelitian ini menggunakan analisis deskriptif. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan ketuntasan belajar siswa dalam kondisi awal hanya 12 dari 25 siswa yang mencapai KKM (70). Rata-rata proses pembelajaran IPS yang diperoleh dengan menerapkan model pembelajaran kooperatif tipe Make A Match siklus pertama 69,4 dan 15 dari 25 siswa yang mencapai ketuntasan belajar 60%. Di siklus II adalah 76,8 dan 22 dari 25 siswa telah belajar dengan persentase ketuntasan 88%. Berdasarkan hasil penelitian, dapat disimpulkan bahwa dengan menerapkan jenis model pembelajaran kooperatif Make A Match dapat meningkatkan hasil belajar IPS di kelas IV SDN Kadukancas Anyer. Saran yang dapat diberikan adalah model tipe kooperatif Make A Match perlu diterapkan dan mengembangkan karena dapat meningkatkan aktivitas siswa dan hasil belajar siswa dalam mata pelajaran IPS.
