Abstract

The purpose of this study was to determine the effect of price, location, and product quality on purchasing intention of red chili at the East Tebet Traditional Market. This type of research is associative using a quantitative approach. The research variables consist of price (X1), location (X2), product quality (X3) and purchase intention (Y). All variables are measured using a likert scale. The number of samples in this study amounted to 80 respondents with a purposive sampling method. Data collection in this study was carried out by mean of a survey method. Testing the instrument using the validity test and reliability test. The data analysis tool used is multiple linear regression with Microsoft Excel and SPSS version 21. Data is managed using multiple regression and hypothesis testing is done by conducting F tests, T tests, and the coefficient of determination. The results of the study show the regression line as follows: Y = 0.224 + 0.199X₁ + 0.295X₂+ 0.471X₃ +e. Based on the T test, the results in this study show that partially price, location and product quality have an effect on purchasing intention red chili at the East Tebet Traditional Market / PSPT. Based on the F test, the f value is obtained 46,371 while f table of 2,72 it can be concluded that simultaneously it is proven that all variable have an effect on purchase intentions. As well as identified product quality factors as the dominant factor affecting the interest in buying red chili.

Jenis penelitian ini adalah asosiatif dengan menggunakan pendekatan kuantitatif. Variabel penelitian terdiri dari harga (X1), lokasi (X2), kualitas produk (X3) dan minat beli (Y). Jumlah sampel dalam penelitian ini berjumlah 80 responden dengan metode purposive sampling. Pengumpulan data dalam penelitian ini dilakukan dengan metode survei. Pengujian instrumen menggunakan uji validitas dan uji reliabilitas. Alat analisis data yang digunakan adalah regresi linier berganda dengan Microsoft Excel dan SPSS versi 21. Data dikelola dengan menggunakan regresi berganda dan pengujian hipotesis dilakukan dengan melakukan uji F, uji T, dan koefisien determinasi. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan garis regresi sebagai berikut: Y = 0,224 + 0,199X₁ + 0,295X₂+ 0,471X₃ +e. Berdasarkan uji T, hasil dalam penelitian ini menunjukkan bahwa secara parsial harga, lokasi dan kualitas produk berpengaruh terhadap minat beli cabai merah di Pasar Tradisional Tebet Timur. Berdasarkan uji F diperoleh nilai f sebesar 46,371 sedangkan f tabel sebesar 2,72 dapat disimpulkan bahwa secara simultan terbukti semua variabel berpengaruh terhadap minat beli. Serta mengidentifikasi faktor kualitas produk sebagai faktor dominan yang mempengaruhi minat beli cabai merah.
